Antoine let out a nervous laugh, moving close. The couch gave way as he sat upon it, creaking just a bit. His hand gently touched at the cushion, studying it a bit.

In truth, his day had been totally uneventful. It had to be this way, since he was told that the best thing he could do now was just relax. And so he did. 

He felt almost ashamed he had nothing to report to her. To avoid the topic, he begun to sip on his shake again. He glanced away from her stare, now chewing on the straw.

“…er… well…”

"Don't worry, Sugah-'Twan. Ah'm not expectin' to hear anythin'... just thought ah'd ask ta be nice."

She smiled, resting a hand on her husbands shoulder and moving a bit closer to him. "Ah've seen you sleep most o' the day away, Sugah-'Twan. Ah'm sure y'all haven't done much today, but if ya want to go f'er a walk 'r somethin' ah'm more than happy t'accompany ya."

He turned to see his beloved, handling two milk shakes. This brought a smile to his face. Relieved to see her again, he took one of the shakes from her. Licking his lips, he put the straw close to his mouth.

He took a sip of it, the cold chocolate hitting the back of his throat. He closed his eyes. A soft grunt emitted from him, telling her he was quite pleased. He released the straw from his lips’ grip, and then brought a kiss upon her forehead. 

“Zanks, darleeng. You always know how to brighten up my day…”

"There's no need ta thank me, Sugah-'Twan. Ah'm ya wife, it's mah job to make ya happy."

Bunnie tipped her hat, taking a small sip of her own. After a moment or two she stepped over to the couch, sitting down and shuffling over to give Antoine enough room to sit beside her, "Ah haven't heard about ya day, Sugah-'Twan. Anythin' interestin' happen?"

“I zeenk I fell asleep out in ze sun today… I’m feeling pretty relaxed…” he let out a gentle yawn.

Antoine found himself to be alone in his home. His heart sunk accordingly. He wondered where his wife could have gone.

"Y'all always look so gosh darn cute when ya fall asleep out there. But ah know ya always wake up dehydrated, so I went out to get us both milkshakes from Uncle Chuck's Dinah~"

He knew that his absence had been an overwhelming thing for her. His own guilt had ruined any chance of him becoming close to his lover. Suddenly, her hand had grazed through his hair. 

He swallowed. She had not touched him like that in what seemed a very long time. Feelings of a time of innocent love lingered in him. Her sweet honey dew scent only heightened the need to touch her.

Scooting the chair away, he rose up. His hands touched the side of her forearms. His lips suddenly grazed over hers, pressing down on her. He lingered. He dared not move.

Was that the answer she seeked?

It had managed to take Bunnie by surprise when she felt his lips pressed against her own, but her arms slowly made their way around behind his neck as she returned it lovingly.

How Bunnie had missed this touch in his absence. It had been so long since she had been kissed, been held, and she loved every second of it. Bunnie didn't want to part from the kiss, not until Antoine was ready to. This was everything she could hope for.

Antoine pushed the chair out from under the table where he sat. He had been looking over some papers when she had caught his attention. He stared up at her. His arms tenderly reached to hold her. 

Words escaped him as he felt her warm stomach on his face. He inhaled her scent, sweet honey dew and flowers pressing into his nose. He brushed his muzzle on her, kissing the covered belly.

“…Just tired, my love.” He murmured.

"Ah am too, Sugah-'Twan..."

She gently ran her hand through his hair, smiling down at him and holding him close. It made her really happy to have him here, with her again. A soft blush came to her face when he left the kiss on her belly;

"Sugah... would y'all like ta go ta bed? Ah'm sure ya could use the rest."

“Sugah-‘Twan, any chance ya want to do something for our anniversary? Y’all know it’s comin’ up soon, right?”

He forced a smile, trying to be happy for his lover. “Ah…is it soon, my love? We will have to zink of something to do…”

"Sugah, are y'all okay? Y-ya nevah f'erget an anniversary. What's wrong? Y'all can talk ta me."

"Sugah-'Twan, any chance ya want to do something for our anniversary? Y'all know it's comin' up soon, right?"

“Well he does watch over New Mobotroplis now and he wants everyone to be happy. I’ll be sure to tell him that when I see him again” He replied

This was a nice change.  He was glad that no one threatened him for once.

“How’s Antoine doing?” He asked

Last Geoffery say Antoine he was in the hospital and in a coma. As his wife Bunnie must of checked up one him

"Sugah-'Twan is up and well! Ah got him back recently, he woke up from his coma! Ah could not possibly he happier!"

She gave a content smile and a small squeak of joy; honestly the rabbit was content even thinking about her husband being among the waking again.

"How are y'all doin'? Adaptin' back in nicely?"
