Unpacking Problems || Lane
"You weren’t a bitch," he protested lightly but he knew it was no use. He kept his mouth silent and squeezed her gently. “I’m glad I’m home too, I’ve missed you. I really have." Luke felt himself getting a bit emotional. He hadn’t expected himself to be feeling this way. While he was away, Luke has just assumed her feelings towards him had disappeared but knowing they hadn’t brought him true joy. “Not to kill the mood but I really have to clean up before Becky comes home tomorrow." Luke laughed lightly and felt Jane against his stomach as his muscles contracted.
"Well," she started, “you have me now, if you want me." She gave him another kiss, smiling as she did. Jane never thought that she could miss a guy so much. The feelings she had for him never left, and she was happy they didn’t. She giggled a little and looked up at him. “If you still need help, then I’d be willing to stay a while longer."
Luke let out a small sigh. "Yeah we need to take all the hallway stuff to the garage. Please help," he said before letting out a laugh as he found it impossible to remain serious. He let go of Jane and started for the hall way. He had to tiptoe around the mess, just to get half way to the stairs. Gently he grabbed a pair of skates by the blades and carried them downstairs. "Just pick up anything and follow me," he called back to her.
