Confinement [Alex's POV] (Part 1/?)

Hello, my name is Alex. I played Roblox with my friend group from 2019 to 2021, but unfortunately, the game ruined my life and that friend group.

We had five people in our friend group, all of our parents knew each other and were friends at some point. There was me, Ace, his brother Sebastian, the youngest Kevin, and my best friend Luke. I had known Luke since we were practically in diapers so I was the first person who knew anything about him even before he was a him. The first incident happened on May 13, 2019, when Kevin went missing. We hadn't seen or heard from him on Roblox which was VERY uncommon for him due to the game being his entire world at the time. (makes sense why he was failing lol XD) But we were all worried about him since I heard from my mom at the time Kevin's mom, Mary, was in contact with a detective and the police 24/7 due to Kevin's sudden disappearance. Kevin was like a little brother to Ace and he even tried to secretly help look for Kevin. Unfortunately though... Kevin was found dead in July on the 16th. I never got the full details but we knew it had been murder. Ace was never ok after that. I remember him breaking down after class blaming himself for not looking after Kevin better, but none of us could blame Ace for feeling bad. We all did. Why would someone do such a thing? Kevin was only 11. It took us all a while to get over Kevin actually being gone so for a while it was just me and Luke. We loved playing Natural Disaster together since it was actually Kevin who introduced us to the game before he... Yknow. I loved playing that game day and night with Luke. My favorite thing was finding ways to fling Luke across the map XD But other than that it was always fun, especially with him. Unfortunately for us hackers/exploiters were a common thing on natural disasters and it wasn't uncommon for them to torment servers if they so felt like it. But on March 1st, Luke met him. We didn't think much about this particular hacker at first and thought he was some bum who had nothing better to do but mess with some high schoolers on a kids game. But no. It's his fault. Marcus. You took him from me. He was MY best friend. YOU TOOK EVERYTHING FROM ME. YOU TOOK HIS LIFE AWAY. I still remember my mom rushing me out of bed to see the news channel and the call my mom made to Luke's mom that day. He was found dead at the City Park stabbed several times. How long had he been held by him? How long did Luke scream out for someone, anyone to help him? I should have come to save him. There... There was so much I never got to tell him. Luke.. I'm so sorry...
