I’m not 100% sure of the date but I think it might be April 23rd 1956 after a show at the New Frontier in Las Vegas.

There may be more photos of the hotel room mobbing scene but this is what I found real quick.

The other photos are from that same 2 week period but I’m not sure that they were shot the same day.

He’s adorable. The looks on the girl’s faces are amazing. They’re experiencing exactly what we wish we’d been there for. And to be honest, I’m glad he got mobbed by girls bc he was so downhearted about the reception he got at his concerts there by the ‘older crowds’. The photo of him standing in the doorway with the cutest look on his face - he needed that!! We would have been those girls staring doe-eyed and dreamily at him, getting and giving all the hugs and kisses, and making sure he still knew he was loved.

Rich, Handsome and Bachelor: No Marriage Plans for Elvis Presley

By VERNON SCOTT Hollywood Correspondent HOLLYWOOD (UPI) –

Elvis Presley is rich, handsome and a bachelor—and intends to stay that way for a good while. So relax, teen-age cuties. No matter what the gossip columnists say, your boy Elvis is as unattached romantically as Zasu Pitts. “Anybody can get married,” the Tennessee Valentino said during a dressing room lunch of yogurt and a soft drink.

Getting married is easy. “There’s been a lot of mistakes made in marriage and I’d like to avoid making that kind of a mistake if I can.” Does this mean Elvis will stay a bachelor forever? “No,” he said thoughtfully, “I’ve been so busy I haven’t had time to think about marriage. Besides, I haven’t met anyone I care for that much. I want to marry and settle down some day—but at the right time and to the right person.”

Elvis is in top-flight physical condition and so busy with his career he hardly has time for girls, much less think about marching to the altar. Since leaving the Army 14 months ago, he has starred in three movies, and currently is working in Hal Wallis’ ‘Blue Hawaii.’ “I have 30 days off when I finish this picture,” he said, “and I’m going back to Memphis for a rest. I sing 14 songs in ‘Blue Hawaii’, so I could use a few weeks off.”

Modesty is Presley’s long suit. He’d rather talk about any subject than Elvis Presley. When pressed he reluctantly makes an observation. How does he feel about himself as an actor, for instance? “After eight pictures I’m still unsure of myself in front of the cameras,” he said. “It takes quite a while to learn the ropes.” And it’s not good for a fella to get too self-confident. “I might have progressed a little with each picture, but every movie is different and difficult because you’re not playing yourself. You have to learn the kind of character you’re supposed to be and then do the best you can.”

Elvis may not appear in academy award contenders, but his pictures make money, and he is more in demand than Frank Sinatra. The hip-swinging singer has 11 more movies lined up through 1965, which is more than any other performer can boast. Furthermore, they are with top out-fits, MGM, the Mirish Brothers and Wallis. ‘‘Next year I’m going to take more time between pictures,” he said. “But it won’t be for any honeymoon.”
