Young, Scrappy, and Hungry
She gave a small frown at Regulusâ words because she should be better at hiding these things but right now every light was a small stab to her headache. She glanced at the chair and shook her head. âIâm gonna grab something and go sit in a quieter place with an eye mask on,â she said with a small laugh. âActually, and donât tell my parents please, but Iâve got a horrible hangover.â She whispered the word as if it was a profanity, because it was certainly expected of Narcissa Black to not have a hangover.
âClasses are boring and pointless, I pay people to do my work so, seriously, pointless, but everyone has to do them, I guess. You?â She grabbed a muffin and apple (though that wasnât in Druellaâs Meal Plan) and nodded at him. âYouâre welcome to join me, but I must escape all of these people.â
A quick half smile and Regulus reached over to find an empty tea mug. He poured Narcissa a cup, adding some cream and sugar, before sitting down next to her. âDrink this. And I have a headache charm in my bag. That should help. Your secret is safe with me.â
It felt...nice. To be trusted, for once. To have a member of his family not act like he was a young, soft idiot with no brain.Â
Not that he was naming any names, Sirius.
âI rather enjoy the work.â He glanced at his watch. âBut I was heading towards the library. Let me at least see you to the dorms on my way.â
