Elliot had been listening to some idiot on the phone about the case she was on, walking with cup of coffee in other hand. "So is this Keane guy gonna be helpful or no-" she didn't pay attention, coffee meeting the shirt of the man she bumped into. She hung up, "oh my god. I'm so sorry." -notthecujoyourelookingfor
As Marcus was walking down the street, he was on his way to the motel he was staying. Sure he had a truck…Tomas’s truck but he liked to just walk when he could. Coming around a corner he was met with a cup of coffee, and someone bumping into him. He wasn’t overly angry, but he wasn’t happy either as he stared at them “Well, I wanted coffee, but this wasn’t what I had in mind…” he finally spoke as he looked to them
Once they made their way to the destination, Marcus heard the dog alerting them “Looks like we are at the right place, Tomas. Dogs are naturals at feeling what we eventually see….” he spoke with a smile as Tomas seemed to roll his eyes.
Getting out of the truck, he went towards the bed of it to grab his bag “Its a nasty demon and believe me its not going to be around long. Not once we both get in there…” he spoke as he petted the dog and smiled
She let her growls die out, knowing he was trying to comfort her. A demon would see right through her though and know exactly what she was so she had to figure something out and fast. She jumped out of the truck, heading into the building after managing to nudge the door open. She hoped she wasn’t going to screw up this guys perception of dogs since he seemed to love them so much.
Marcus watched as the the dog seemed to lead the way, and Tomas seemed almost amused “Of course the dog that likes you turns out to be some sort of exorcist in the making…” he teased as Marcus made a face and followed the dog now “Hush Tomas, its leading us straight to it. Better then searching around this abandoned building and looking for the homeless person with a demon in it as most mental illnesses could act as such…” Tomas couldn’t help but nod as without the dog it would have been a needle in a haystack and the dog was more acute and seemed to be on the trail and soon Tomas stopped complaining and just followed them both
She ran ahead on purpose, running into the confession booth and shifting before changing into clothes she had left there for her. It had that musky church smell, Elliot sighing at the familiarity of ugly pews and dusty hymnal pages. She had lived here a few times, the nuns passing placing a blanket over her and leaving her to sleep. People were kinder to dogs, she knew that. She walked out of the confession booth.
“You. Coffee man.” she said upon spotting him, knowing she had a part to play now. “What are you doing here?”
Marcus at some point had lost sight of the dog as he and Tomas were searching for it now curious of where it had gone but finding nothing but a very run down church around them.
As he was about to look off in another direction, Marcus heard the familiar voice speak to him “I could ask you the same…” came his retot as he looked at her “Tomas, meet the one who ran into me earlier and dirtied my shirt…” he spoke with his eyes rolling
Now he was curious, as they knew there was a demon about and soon could hear the telltale signs of it “I am after a demon bastard, and if you know whats good for you. You will let myself and Father Tomas deal with it….” he spoke, but eyed her very suspiciously as he was really wondering how she was here…
"Do your collars give you automatic right? I lived in this church before it was rundown...I knew the priests and nuns by first name." She said with a slight frown, touching the chipped wood of one of the pews.
"They killed them all. There are multiple demons and they have destroyed my own home." She said with a slight glare. "My name is Elliot and I...I need your help. I'm deathly allergic to silver and the demons know that..."
