In my head post-canon Monty and niko are roommates. Monty reads their horoscopes every morning, and niko tells him what manga he should read and they both always try each other's coffee orders. Jenny does wonder how she ended up with another teenager shaped person and why niko has a bird cage in her room and not a second bed but she learned to stop asking. And they have sleep over with the cat where he beats them at uno and Monty acuses him of cheating and after they have fashion shows. Edwin vists every Friday and they watch TV and movies and tarot readings.

Sometimes I forget the words I use from tv shows and Fandom aren't always in wide use. I used the term ass butt outside of a supernatural circle and my family was confused.

I was watching clue (1985) the movie based after the board game when I wondered.

Has Charles seen the movie? Technically, he could've the timelines match up. And if he has did he show edwin?

I propose that not only has Charles seen the movie, and not only has he shown it to Edwin, but they've seen it so many times that, more often than not, they'll randomly quote it together when they do cases, voices and all

so, Edwin was in hell for 70 years straight, yeah? That number by itself is horrible, but I’ve done calculations-

Twenty-five thousand days of straight torture because of what? A technicality? Because a group of assholes decided to sacrifice this poor kid to a demon? And that’s not even all, plus the time he spent in episode 7. Can we talk about willpower? Edwin spent twenty five thousand days of running and getting caught and getting ripped apart. Over and over and over. And then Charles just runs in there, no question, to save him. He even refuses to let Crystal go with him, even though there’s an impossibly high chance he won’t make it out.

so. you mean to tell me charles isn’t in love with edwin? -sniff- -sniff- I smell denial.

Also those numbers are assuming time in hell passes the same way it does on earth (which I highly doubt, just look at the pile of bodies, there's no way that happened in what was probably just a few hours). It's safe to assume edwin was actually in there for what felt like much longer (even if time isn't different there, your sense of time gets all funny when you have no day cycles)
