Can I please have a matchup? My friend circle would describe me as a quiet, intelligent person who is introspective and introverted. My elementary students would describe me as an energetic, outgoing teacher who is silly and "awesome". And despite the obvious conflict of information, both groups are correct. I volunteer at the local shelter and love working with kids all day. I can often be found doing quiet activities, like reading, cooking, or playing video games. 1/3
But I also love to be outdoors and will often go on hikes and go camping. I like to think of myself as happy and supportive of the people in my life. I try my damndest to be thoughtful and make people smile by doing things like sending candy and notes to my coworkers at random or buying 100 carnations on Valentines Day to give out to strangers. 2/3
Yet it's always the ones who seem happiest that truly are not. I've had a rough past that has led to severe self-confidence issues and a general self hatred, though I mask it with an overly confident demeanor. I'm an oxymoron. 3/3
The two of you both love the outdoors, itâs a natural and therapeutic place to be. You both share this reverence of the natural world and the peace it can bring. Walks in nature or hikes are a common part of your routine. At first theyâre short one considering Saeran isnât the strongest person physically but with time and practice you both go on longer and longer excursions. You mutually let go of the loud and crowded world to take time to just exist with each other away from the chaos.
Saeran loves your kind heart, heâs someone who has been starved for genuine kindness in his life, but youâre there with endless compassion and support. Your thoughtfulness sometimes almost overwhelms him, you are so kind to him that sometimes he doesnât even know what to do. It takes time for him to be able to process that you care about him, and like doing things that make him smile.Â
Heâll try and do the same to you, he wants you to be happy. Heâll bake you sweets and put together the most beautiful flower arrangements to give to you. Just as you want to make him smile he wants that even more for you. Because he loves you and wants to see you happy.Â
Your dual nature is good for him, you can be outgoing and positive, encouraging him to try new things or challenge himself in a healthy way. He can feed off of your energy too helping him feel better than he has in a long time. But you can also be quiet, introspective, calm. Which on Saeranâs bad days are important, if heâs feeling overwhelmed by bad memories or anxious about the present or future you can level with him. Providing him a safe and comforting space to deal with what heâs struggling with. Youâre there for him, and he knows that.Â
Saeran has also had a rough past, so he understands how that can effect a person. The two of you can relate to each other in ways that other people might not be able too. But Saeran admires the way youâve managed to grow, you may have a rough past but you still made it through it and even though thereâs still challenges, you havenât ever given up.Â
He also understands having low self esteem. He still doesnât think very highly of himself and struggles with his own issues. But knowing that you struggle similarly breaks his heart. You mean the world to him and he thinks you are the most incredible thing in the world. Youâre his angel, his salvation, his true paradise and he wants to make sure that you know and believe that.Â
Your kindness towards children is one of his favorite things about you. Seeing the way you work with kids warms his heart. Saeran was never able to go to school as a child, and didnât get to have teachers that really impacted him. He wishes he could have had a teacher like you as a child. But heâs still grateful, even if he didnât have someone like you then, he has you now. And thatâs more than he could have ever imagined heâd have.Â
You relate to each other, and wholeheartedly wish your each otherâs happiness. Â
