Clint was drinking coffee and reading the paper at his kitchen counter, so he caught Bobbi in his peripherals as she walked in. His eyebrows knitted together in a curious expression, but he smiled at her all the same. “Hey,” he said, hugging her back and reminding himself not to hold her for too long, completely missing the handsome she’d tacked on. “Of course,” he chuckled. They might have had their issues, but there was a reason he’d married Bobbi so fast when they’d met. “How could I not when you bring me such good take out,” he added with a smirk, peering into the bag she’d brought.
"It wasn't my charming personality or sparkling disposition then? I'm almost offended she smiled out, signing as she speaks (an old habit, but it comes easy). Slowly she unpacks everything from one of the bags. Then she goes listing them off, signing as she talks and gestures, making sure Barton has her lips the entire time. "Fried rice for me, dumplings... those noodles you like, some Emperial Rolls and spring rolls..." she trails off, leaning against eh counter with a grin as she holds up the other bag. "Even brought your favorite ice cream--" she says gently.
Peering at him though, her brows furrowed. "Where are you hearing aids Clint?", and she's signing a little slower now.

Bobbi knocked on the edge of the door, poking her head into Clint's apartment. She took a deep breath and walked in, slowly going over to him. Reaching out, Bobbi touched his shoulder before squeezing it. "Hey handsome--" she smiled at him, putting some take out on the counter. She opens her arms up to hug him. "Missed me?" she intones, making sure he can see her lips as she leans against the counter beside him.

"During the Hydra show down I was with Pierce. Orders were to stop Steve and so I attempted.” He explained. “Once I stopped him, I helped him. I could trust a lot more Steve Rogers than Pierce, and once it all was over? Once everything went right I simply disappeared. I didn’t want a thing to do with SHIELD anymore.”
And there was a reason behind it. One he would probably not admit, but that he’d should. “They’re fine. Steve is after a friend and Natasha is … trying to find herself again.”
"Again? Poor thing... wasn't the first time hard enough?" Bobbi asked with a frown. She'd been around when Clint first brought her in as a stray, like he was brought in.She'd seen the change in her from KGB super spy to SHIELD Asset, to beloved friend.
Smiling softly at him, she tilted her bottle back to take a sip, playing with the hem of his shirt. "And what about you? Do you still know who you are?" she asked quietly. "Never trusted Pierce.... Never trusted a man who'd only drink one finger of whiskey" she manged to joke, though you could tell a lot by a man by how he took his drink.

"Oh, I heard, and I almost go and kick your butt, until I saw the hair. The only way you’ll dye your hair is for mission, that’s something I know way too well, Birdie. Although, not gonna lie, I was worried. Still thinking Phil could have asked someone else. But … you’re the best he has. So… I controlled myself." He pointed, scratching the back of his head. Having been checking on Hydra’s moves was their priority as ex-shield. Natasha and him felt obligated to do so. Plus, if Rumlok was evil, who else could have joined them? He was worried.
And glad. Glad that she said those words. “Oh, Birdie, you’re not the only one missing here. Natasha has her remarks, but she is not as piercing as you are.” He joked, smiling fondly.
"I am the best--" she beamed back at him. She flipped her hair back some, watching him closely. She still picked at the label of her bottle, going a little quiet. "Was worried you got crushed in the Triskelion attack, you were off the grid for so long... too many unidentified bodies for comfort" she admits, lifting her gaze to him again, lips twisted some.
She rose her hand and pushed his hair back some before she pulls her hand away and rises to get herself another beer, settling back down with her legs thrown across his lap. "How are Steve and Natasha holding up anyway?" she intoned, pushing her hair away from her face.

"Hey, Birdie, mockingbirds have bigger tail feathers. At least in comparison to their body.” He pointed, twitching his nose lightly as he felt the need to sneeze. He didn’t, it was just an itch.
"Nothing, really, on the farm, and the Stark Tower. Life is easier when you don’t have to be constantly assigned to missions. Plus there are no other risks to take, I can finally trust my leaders. Not that Phil is bad but… we’ve served mroe or less the same time, I wouldn’t feel good being under his command."

"Ah you know, just little cloak and dagger things--" she hummed out,downing the last of her beer and leaning over to set it on the table before she shifts, dragging the sleeves of her sweater over her hands some and shifting to drape her legs over his like she use to.
She grinned at him some, propping her head up some. "Not sure if you heard, but I was a HYDRA operative briefly--" she hummed out with a laugh. "Got a kick ass red coat, had to dye my hair, everything--" she hummed out. She was quiet and she dipped her head some, smiling down at her hands briefly.
When she looked up, the smile lingered. "I've missed you..." she said then. "I really have..." she added calmly, she missed having her friend around, she missed arguing with him sometimes, she missed their jokes. She missed him.
Bereaved October
Clint was quiet for a long time, wanting to just focus on the steps, not on the context of why they were dancing. If he could never think about it, it would almost be worse but there were days when he just wanted to forget it happened.
"No, thank you." He replied after a moment, pressing a kiss to her temple. It was when things like this happened that he was reminded about how much he missed Bobbi. How much he loved her and yet they could never have what they used to have.
Honestly, Bobbi just wanted to nap for the rest of the day, so she gave him a gentle tug after stepping off of his feet and walked ahead of him, his hand being held by both of her's as she dragged him up the stairs to her bedroom and she slowly crawled onto what use to be her side of the bed when they were married and sat cross legged, waiting for him.
Hiding from the outside work sounded better than anything else right now. Hiding with him sounded like what she needed, what they both needed for a few hours. Just each other and the noises of New York.

"He has a huge ass." He said, nodding. "Wait, no, that wasn’t the question." Chuckling, and obviously joking, he drank from his bottle and gave a short shrug. "No, he is not. He is … trouble. But he is a good man. Reliable, whether you’d believe it or not, one can trust that man to save your own ass if that is necessary."
"Oh I'm aware of the size--" she laughs back.
She can't remember the last time she's felt at home like this. It was probably with him. Listening to him talk about Stark made her smile behind the neck of her bottle."Good that means I don't have to watch your tail feathers anymore--" she teases.
She still would. She always would.
Taking another swig of her beer, she hummed lowly. "What else has my favorite archer been up to?" she intoned.

"I don’ know wha’ kind of media you’ve been ingesting, Agen’ Morse, bu’ tha’ term refers to our actual body temperature. No’ wha’ever lecherous thing it is tha’ you’re insinua’in’," he told her, pinning her with a look. What he was or was not in the bedroom department was no one’s business but his and Jemma’s. And he preferred to keep it that way.
He glanced over at her. “Tha’ so?” he asked, interest a bit piqued. “Didn’ know tha’. Woulda though’ you were Ops.”
She nodded with a laugh, "Eeyup, I'm a biochemist like Jemma..." Bobbi said softly. "Met a boy, found out I have a knack for getting the job done because of him..." she said, lifting her gaze to the Scotsman briefly, "Got married, got a divorce... got married again.... got a divorce again..." she smiled out. "Now I'm here..." she laughed.
"Bumming it with my ex husband number two and Coulson's band of merry misfit agents... no offense" she says softly. "You're all good, but... we're in deep and if we get out now... it won't be alive" she said.

Clint shook his head. “Oh, no. Not anymore. I’m not getting near unknown devices alone.” That was his answer to joining Clint. He knew there was a chance he might get near one f those Asgardian, Kree, alien stuff once again and that would be a risk. Because when he was under the influence of one he killed too many of his own.
"It’s fine. People still call me Hawkguy and that pisses the hell out of me, but I don’t mind at all. It’s better this way. Safer. For everyone. Secrets hurt on the long run. And some shouldn’t be secret. What about you? Phil hs a different take than Fury does, that’s for sure"
"It's... interesting to say the least...." she admitted, settling down beside him, holding a beer out to him. She smiled softly and twisted off her bottle top and took a swig. "I know I'm fightin' a good fight still, but--" she took a deep breath, dipping her head and shaking it. "The cloak and dagger stuff is getting hard... and old" she whispered.
She laughed, picking at the label on the bottle as she stared down at it before raising her gaze. "I want a life outside of all of this believe it or not.... but there's a job that needs to be done and... I've gotta help get it done" Bobbi whispered before taking another sip of beer. She looked over and smiled at him.
"I do have a real question though--" she says, turning and grinning at him as she shifted her body, tucking one leg up on the couch. "Is Stark really that big of an ass?"
