STORYTIME

So there’s this mall in my area that used to have this lottery store that my mother used to go to allll the time.

In the display window there were a few loops of model track to advertise some of the toys [mostly bootlegs] that would be inside.

Since I was little I always *always* wanted the Christmas Lionel Thomas set from there. It’s the one with Annie and Clarabel, not the goods one you often see on the market.

However, all the time the guy would say it’s not for sale…. Until they decided to close the store!

So, because we were there often, I snagged up the whole [complete] set plus some extra HO/OO rolling stock for $50.

Thomas has the faces and everything I’m like so surprised about that, well worth it. :3

What If? Spider-Man

ALLLRIGHT this one's coming to Tumblr My idea for if someone in this universe were to become Spider-Man

The kid would obviously be a touchy subject governmentally and politically, bringing up the ethics of vigilantism. HELL IF THEY WERE QUEER OR A POC it'd be insane the amount of people who'd feel represented

Plus i just know that they'd be at Times Square with the suit making money by literally being the hero.

Obviously Disney / Marvel would possible wanna sue or even have the hero do work under a contract, which I'd assume would be declined, but maybe then a new name would need to be taken on.

I could also see some Marvel writers being REALLY hyped to work with them, maybe to improve stories or even do a comic run based on their life.

Plus the amount of comparisons to all the previous Peter Parkers, or to Miles or Gwen would be insurmountable and I'm sure it'd stress them out.

Hell they might even do the comparisons themself and become anxious over the "canon events" happening to them.

Capitalizing on the fact that they're a hero through meet-and-greets and marketing could be good until one loser influencer tries to unmask them for clout etc etc.
