Hermione and her two sons
Draco was in his office, at home, when Scotch, his house elf, apparated in front of him.
“Mistress Hermione asked Scotch to tell Master Malfoy that the ceremony had started,” he said, shyly.
Draco nodded and thanked him, before walking to his bedroom to grab his jacket. When done, he disaparrated straight to the minister. He would be late, but it was not as if the ceremony was so important for him. He just wanted to see it by himself, instead of the papers.
When he apparated in the Atrium, he weaved in and out the crowd towards the platform where his wife was supposed to speak. He could hear wizards and witches talk about his wife and he couldn’t hep but smile, so proud of her he was.
Even if the ceremony was boring, Draco was here for a reason. It was a special day. A very special day.
He turned his head towards the platform, just in time to see his wife and his two sons, walking proudly behind her. They just had been promoted auror and bodyguards of the Minister. If, at first, Hermione Granger-Malfoy had been against their new position, her husband had told her to relax about it and trust their sons. She had given up quickly.
Leo and Scorpius were standing on each side of her with professionalism and pride. Wand in hand and carefully watching the crowd, they were protecting their mother with confidence.
And at this moment, Draco thought about how lucky he was to have this beautiful family.
“Careful, Dad, you look as if you’re going to run towards them and scream how much you love them. So Hufflepuff!”
He didn’t have to turn around to know that his eldest, Lyra, the new DADA professor, was smirking.
