zhongli comforting you during a panic attack (modern au? idk lol) (zhongli x reader)
zhongli had gotten a call during work from you, and through tears and sobs, you told him that you were in desperate need for his comfort and love at the moment. thankfully, it was nearing the end of his shift, and hu tao had allowed him to leave early. zhongli rushed home and quickly found you in the living room, crying on the floor and leaning against the couch. "hey, hey, my lotus, im home. im home now." he pats your back, letting you cry into his shirt.
he doesnt mind the tears staining his shirt, it'll dry and he can clean it. his top priority is calming you down and figuring out why you found yourself in such a state. after you've calmed down a bit, zhongli attempts to get up, offering you a calming herbal tea. you hold onto his arm, afraid of letting him go. afraid of him leaving you. he understands your worries, and decides he'll keep you in his arms as he brews the tea.
zhongli and you are in the kitchen, he has an arm wrapped around you, holding you against the side of his chest, telling you that its going to be okay
