An important announcement: This will be the last page of Now Recharging updating on Tumblr! Moving forward, the webcomic will be updating at SmackJeeves. As long as you save NowRecharging.com you can be sure to follow the comic wherever it goes (hopefully no more moves, but just in case)!

I didn't want to have to do this, but it’s no longer practical for Now Recharging to be hosted here. I had a couple of pages flagged without any notification, and it took quite a bit of contorting to request appeals (once someone at Tumblr actually looks at the posts it's no problem because the content is obviously fine, but just being able to find the posts and get to a point to be able to submit the appeals takes way too long).

It's a shame because Tumblr has been such a great channel for sharing content and getting more awareness around important topics like palliative care. But this whole situation is untenable for creators for many reasons, not the least of which is the fact that creators need time to MAKE things, not lose more time with this kind of stuff.

I'm not going to delete this blog or anything - all pages up to date will still be here! That said if anything gets flagged in some other sweep of the algorithm, I won’t be monitoring to unflag them. The comic continues to run as normal at GoComics.com. I apologize for the inconvenience, and hope you'll consider continuing to follow Emmie and Morio's adventures outside of Tumblr. I have some exciting chapters coming up that I've been itching to get to for years, literally!
