AR doesnât experience love the way humans do, and Dirk knows better than anyone how dangerously possessive he can be. Itâs a side of their relationship that doesnât usually come out unless theyâre alone together and Dirk finds himself on his knees, bound tight in those winding metal limbs, with ARâs voice hissing into his ear- dark, vicious promises that would be threatening if they didnât make Dirkâs insides burn and his skin flush pink. Despite having his mentality restored from the artificially lobotomized version that Dirk first met, ARâs personality hasnât changed in the slightest, and Dirk canât understand why heâs so intoxicated by the feeling of being owned, with a permanent collar around his neck, and ARâs sweet, venomous whispers of âmine.â
AR doesnât need a blindfold to take away Dirkâs eyesight, when a well-placed cable will do the trick. He doesnât need a gag to silence him, when his own claws fit perfectly around the humanâs mouth, and he doesnât need ice or hot wax, with the electric circuits at his fingertips. He doesnât need leather or chains, when the difference in their physical strength is so profound that he could tear Dirkâs body in half without even trying, or shatter the humanâs bones with a single, purposeful squeeze.
Dirk has been on the wrong end of ARâs claws before, and no human has ever reacted to them with anything other than abject fear, yet when AR gently drags their pointed, killing tips across Dirkâs chest, the humanâs back arches under their touch. He doesnât even have to ask Dirk to bare his throat, when his pet is already so desperate to please, and despite having the entire world and every civilization under his control, thereâs nothing else on earth that satisfies him more.
