On July 23rd I got myself a birthday gift. Meet Olive! I got her to help me cope with the sleepless nights I was having, as I watched my Mum lose her battle with cancer. 3 days later, my Mum passed away with her family surrounding her. Olive has been supplying me with endless love and cuddles, which has helped immensely. Glad my Mum got to meet her. Rest in Peace, Mum. Miss you now, forever and always.

On Friday we rushed back down to the vet, my mum swearing cause it was her first time out with no hair and she didn't remember her hat. (Thanks, chemo.) It seemed like a cruel joke when the vet said it was possible it was a cancerous tumour on Miko's heart or lung, which was bleeding out. There was nothing they could do, but he held on til we got there. And then just like that, he was gone. Rest in Peace, sweet kitten. I miss you so much already.
