this mommyson x yumdda beef made me realise how both advantageous and bad being and independent khh/krnb artist is, you basically should rely on a company because it provides you all the tools to make something decent or better but at what cost when you’re gonna end up with a 7:3 (7 company and 3 artist profit deal) contract?? but being independent is soo much more work because you have to budget and network all by yourself and you provide yourself all the tools to come out with decent or better content
on the other side the word “underrated” has lost its meaning in the music scene and became an umbrella term for anything unknown when it’s supposed to mean someone with potential who is underestimated. by its true definition, this is why i cannot stress enough about supporting underrated artists by promoting their content especially their music and activities, if you see potential, rather than specifically selecting khh/krnb artists for their looks for your aesthetic blogs and twt pages leaving out the beautiful music these artists are making sometimes from scratch, because this is how these artists become desperate to the point of signing unfair contracts in order to make it and end up betraying their companies or end up scammed in the first place, this is also the reason why this blog vouches especially for independent artists, no company can take the credit of an hardworking independent khh krnb artist, never that, i really hope things will change little by little
