I'm a clouis shipper who saves Violet.

So the trailer is up. And this scene made me skeptical.

This scene is obviously not Clementine x Violet route, because you can clearly see that Clementine doesn’t have Violet’s pin on her jacket. So this is most likely the captured Violet route. (Unless saved, but didn’t follow her.)

And from the looks of it, captured-Violet forgives Clem. (Or Clem forgives Violet). Although I have absolutely no context here, I think it’s very unsatisfying for Violet to forgive Clem this quickly...Unless Minerva had abandoned Violet? Because if she hadn’t, then Violet would’ve seek for Minnie instead of Clem.

Minerva has killed her own sister for luxury, so it wouldn’t suprise me if Minerva abandoned Violet in the explosion. Which would be more heartbreaking than Clementine’s betrayal. So she might’ve been willing to be comforted by Clem. But feeling abandoned twice? That’s a emotional breakdown for sure. If Violet felt abandoned again, then she would most likely be a emotionally-fragiled person. (Or triggers a complete emotional outburst)

So that’s my prediction, captured-Violet was abandoned by Minerva, then Violet is either emotionally outburst or emotionally breakdowns when Clem meets her. Clem calms her down and becomes emotionally fragiled after being consoled. 

Unless this is some kind of “forgive Violet” kind of choice, and Violet crawls and begs for Clem for forgivness, then I would be extremely frustraded by this.

I think Louis should’ve been given the Mike ability.

Because music, singing, loud, enthusiastic and nobody wants to listen to them.

When Louis and Violet got their finger cut off, Louis stood up and sat into a corner while Violet crawled into a corner.

I expected it to be the other way around, because based on how they tolerated mental trauma in captured route. But then I thougth “wait, maybe they responded differently this time because of the influence of Clementine’s couragement”. Think about it; Louis’s self-esteem/Violet’s abandonment issues starts to subside thanks to Clementine for saving them, and I think this is how Louis and Violet’s character development are;

Louis went from soft to tough, while Violet went from tough to soft.

Kent said “it takes a lot to turn Louis’s trust on a friend”. So I’d imagine Louis cursing back at the raiders for trying to devaluing and shaming Clementine during his capture. Because how much faith he has in Clem, he bravely stood up for Clem behind bars and tried to get back at them by keep worshiping Clementine’s name. So they decide to silence him for keep idealizing his favorite tangerine.

Lilly didn’t order Dorian to cut Louis’s tongue off for kept talking. She cut off his tongue for constantly defending Clementine…You can’t change my mind on this.

If Clementine and Louis/Violet broke up with eachother; Then based on Louis & Violet’s character, I’m very confident that; Louis would be dumped by Clementine. While Violet would be the one who dumped Clem. 

Reason why, is because I’m pretty sure Louis’s low self-esteem and lack of self-importance wouldn’t give him the confident or reassurance to break up with Clementine. Which leaves Clementine more time and opportunity to break the news with Louis first.

While people with abandonment issues are so afraid of being abandoned that they would rather leave their partner first before the partner could leave them. Which means Violet would rather break her own heart before Clementine could have given the chance to.

What did you think of the violet and Clem dancing moment?

While the majority of Violentiner;s talks about how adorable and how happy Violet was during the dancing scene. I’m here thinking how rewarding it must be for her. Because both me & Violet have extreme emotions that makes us feel emotions more extreme and differently than others. Which can cause misunderstanding and frustrations. Social support community reached out to my mental health and helps me to express my emotions and emerge my activity socially with others. In Vi’s case, she have to be in an relationship with Clementine for that to happen. So Clem could help Vi to express her emotions and activity socially with her. 

Dancing is a healthy activity for both physical and mental health. It will also decrease depression and increases social and body expressions. Not to mention that Violet even tried an activity she disliked, so I assume Violet profound and emerge it because of Clem. Arts and craft helps us to calm ourselves and helps us to express our emotions more. There’s nothing better than sharing all of these experience than the person who cares about you. These activities makes Violet wholesome and it’s satisfying to see Violet placing her smile on Clementine’s shoulder.

And I’d say Violet deserves these moment more than me. Because people are payed to help me to emerge my social activity. While Violet earn it through sheer passion and bonding alone, and she achieved all of it by herself. Plus Violet’s emotion is far more extreme than mine. So I know for a fact that she’s a better emotional survivor than me. 

I also hope you all see how important Louis and his physical activities are. It’s even the reason why Violet cares about Louis for creating a positive environment around them. This is one of the reason why I romanced Louis but save Violet, because I’m creating a healthy environment for both of them, and I don’t see it any other way.

Is it a weird coincidence that my first dance with a partner was also slow dancing and hugging?

TWDG; Physical > Emotional logic.

I mean, sure I get it; If you’re physical, then you’re also emotional too. I hear this all the time. And this is the reason why the majority of us, fellow Clouis or Louisentines fans believe that;

“Louis was physically traumatized from his mutilation, that also means he got emotionally traumatized too. That automatically means Louis suffered way worse than Violet.”

But how come when it comes to follow Violet/Louis. This logic no longer apply anymore? How is that fair? They litterally have the opposite priorities! I mean how would you feel if someone said;

“Violet keeps you physically alive by working seriously, that also means she keeps you emotionally alive too. That automatically means Violet is way better than Louis’s positivity.”

Yeah, painful isn’t it? If someone told me this about Louis in front me, I would litterally argue how; Louis’s keeping you emotionally positive will also resulting you physically alive by your own accord. If you feel alive, that means you have things to live for. Louis can help you to live a long life-span as your goal.

And this logic should apply to Violet too. If you let Violet succumb to her worst fear and trauma, then you’re just shortning her life-span. Which can cause poor physical health when you’re constantly stuck in a traumatic and emotional cycle.

I’m so sick and tired of people saying physical matters more than emotional when it comes to the deciding factor. Physical and psychological are connected. There are no “right” or “wrong” choices. 

But hey, Episode 4 is still in the making. Let’s see how things gets settled.

I just rewatched The princess and the frog animated movie. And I seriously can’t help but think Clementine as Tiana and Louis as Naveen. I mean, the character and relationships reminds me so much of them. 

A sassy, mature and persistent girl & a former rich-boy musician? It fits so well! During the whole movie I can’t help but thinking them as Clem and Louis. And it’s just feels like a beautiful and fun experience. 😍

I’d be so grateful if someone actually is willing to draw this idea.

Based on my previous post. Louis or Violet takes on their new occupations after the kidnapping incident; 

Violet becomes a sign language teacher for Louis’s disability.

or

Louis becomes a psychotherapist for Violet’s mental health.

So like, a lot of fans imagine that Violet founds a book about sign language, and she’ll teach it to everyone, so they could all understand Louis without his tongue.

So does that mean that Louis finds a book about abandonment issues and teach it to everyone, so they could all understand what Violet is going through?
