358s live for the feeling of being acknowledged for their success in thinking up a solution. 358s love tackling the world in their own balanced way. 3 provides a constant awareness of the feedback and a thirst for prestige. 5 focuses inwards in a search for understanding and fortification. 8 pushes outwards to assert itself against the world. If the 358 is not careful, they can become too wrapped up in their own heads to the point of ignoring their emotions.

The 378 tritype is exactly the kind of person a successful venture needs. While this type is often very goal oriented with a particularly strong ability to notice what is not working and needs to be changed. The 378 enjoys such obstacles and sees them as a welcome challenge to be overcome. With all three cores seeking comfort outside of the person, it is often their inner goals that go ignored. 3 looks to the world for direction and feedback and is constantly adjusting in order to succeed. 7 looks to the world for excitement and novelty to resist the anxieties of life. 8 looks to the world to guard against anything that would seek to control. With such a focus on achieving their goals in a new and exciting way, the 378 can sometimes ignore the impact of their intensity on others and may even overlook the importance of looking inside themselves to understand their own motives.

“The OA” has just been cancelled by Netflix on August 5th: the exact date for which its online fanbase had planned an online #RenewTheOA campaign, requesting for Netflix to renew it for at least a third season.

I can’t believe the OA is cancelled. Literally the only piece of media that I’ve seen that has given me a vision of hope and spirituality that actually makes sense in our reality and inspires me to have faith. I actually burst into tears at the end of season 2 because I felt like a message from God had been sent down through television in the form of this show. I know it sounds totally crazy but I thought of how the stories of the Bible got passed down through people, why couldn’t the new messages come through our stories?

Now that it’s cancelled I can really feel how much of a void we have in our media. It’s all so senseless and violent and cynical and dark. Or it’s about funny things and kindness but with no greater vision. I am hungry for a real complex vision of spirituality that I can hang onto, not this free flow new age stuff that has no commitment needed or rigid and intolerant religion. The oa gave me that and I’m devastated that I can’t even see the whole vision. I am so upset. I think we as a world needed this example of spiritual storytelling so we could know what it meant to watch something that truly moved us in a transcendent way and reminded us to have faith and hope.
