Soo not too long ago I made this (meant to be for an animatic) of the Ultimate Dough in Gekidan Inu Curry's artstyle aka the artist who designed the modoka magica witches
and I decided to try drawing it again but fused with Pitaya and uhh

Why I think Pitaya is ripping off Longanâs whole deal in the latest chapter! After all, out of all the things Pitaya Dragon Cookie would be concerned about, the fact that itâs this in particular is interesting
And I think the reason for this, and for its âChaos Dragonâ formâs behavior has 3 parts to it.
Most of the time, Pitaya Dragon Cookie is focused on having a good fight, and not much else, and while itâs sweet that theyâre concerned about the other dragons, both the fact that this is on the forefront of its mind and the fact that Ananas Dragonâs update is literally next month at the time of writing this, itâs possible that Shadow Milk Cookie told them that heâs going to target the other dragons. Thatâs the first part of it for sure.
I donât think Pitaya Dragon Cookie is acting the way they are simply because of that. My main theory, as the title suggests, is that through all of its struggles, theyâre concerned the most about what is going to happen to Snapdragon Cookie.
After All, this is Snapdragon Cookieâs bio:
To paraphrase, the bio says that âa dragon will plunge the world into chaosâ and imply that itâs Snapdragon, but it doesnât say how. And Pitaya Dragon Cookie adores Snapdragon. Their immediate reaction to it hatching was, âWhat a sssweet little rassscal!â
In the kingdom conversation it has with Snapdragon, they refer to the idea they have as
âSsso bold for a dragon who hasssnât even grown ssscales yet!â
Given how much of the Ultimate Doughâs speech to corrupt Pitaya was about how âweakâ, or âpatheticâ, or âinsignificantâ they were while being bound by dragontongue, it would make sense that it would be worried about Snapdragon who, while they may be able to fly and travel, may not be able to protect themselves if Pitaya is chained up the way they are.
It would also make sense why, if it was cookies that brought them that pain, that it would want to get rid of cookies. Essentially saving their child and the other dragons from that kind of pain. Itâs sparing them from the âgreedâ of cookies and ensuring that Snapdragon has a future where it can grow up safely.
But as the Ultimate Doughâs said, theyâre âtoo weakâ to do anything to help their fellow dragons. Theyâre in chains, bound by its own dragontongue and stuck in their Cookie form, being called Shadow Milk Cookieâs âpetâ and being âmade a spectacle.â They have to be stronger than they are now, and the way it acts around cookies, from the perspective of a dragon, is âweakâ. So they have to be strong, act strong, and no dragon is stronger or more menacing than Longan Dragon. Protecting Snapdragon (and the others but mostly them) is the second part.
The third part is pretty much entirely the Ultimate Doughâs influence but to be more specific, it has to do with one word: Despair.
âAll will tremble in dessspair! They will worssship the Legendary Greenisssh Red Dragon!â
Thatâs the last thing that the Ultimate Dough says to Pitaya Dragon before they fully corrupt, and itâs what SCooP says the Chaos Dragon âfeeds off of.â But! I think thatâs the nature of the Ultimate Dough in general. After all, Dark Enchantress Cookie wanted to throw Gingerbrave into total despair to make him the perfect vessel for the Ultimate Cookie. And itâs not just the cookiesâ despair that the Ultimate Dough is feeding off of: itâs Pitaya Dragonâs too.
Not only did it attach itself to Pitaya Dragon at its lowest moment, but it is also making a concentrated effort to make sure Pitaya Dragon feels despair and stays in it because thatâs how it can keep control.
In Ovenbreak, even before the Cookie Draconic War, Pitaya Dragon Cookie was always trying to piss Longan Dragon off. It constantly leaves and rebels against Longan Dragon. It moved away from the Tropical Soda Islands to claim their own home in the Dragonâs Valley. There was even a bonus scene in Ovenbreak during Draconis Immortalis that shows that Pitaya Dragon Cookie will literally try 100 times to defeat Longan. Itâs clear that even if Cookies werenât involved, Pitaya Dragon Cookie doesnât like them.
The Ultimate Dough is influencing Pitaya Dragon Cookie, if not outright puppeteering it against their will, to act like Longan Dragon. That right there sounds like an absolute nightmare for Pitaya Dragon Cookie. Not only are they have they lost its agency, but they are being forced to mirror someone who they normally have to desire to mirror. The âChaos Dragonâ might be creating despair through the carnage and flames, but theyâre also feeling it while itâs doing so.
A quick aside to add onto this, thatâs also why I think âChaos Dragonâ decided that Hollyberry Cookie would make the perfect âFirst Sacrificeâ. Whether itâs platonic, romantic, or any other form of love itâs still clear in some capacity Pitaya Dragon loves Hollyberry Cookie. Sheâs closer to it than anyone else is so her dying would crush them inside.

TLDR:
Shadow Milk Cookie most likely told Pitaya Dragon Cookie that he was going to try and target the other dragons. Because of this, the Ultimate Dough is leveraging Pitaya Dragon Cookieâs fear for the other dragonsâ safety, especially Snapdragonâs against them. This, plus the influence of the Ultimate Dough itself, is causing Pitaya Dragon Cookie to act like Longan Dragon in order to make them spiral into a pit of despair so that the Ultimate Dough can keep control over it.
