i hate how so many "cute animal" videos are just like. so obvious that this animal is very upset and in distress and telling the recorder to stop doing something and they're just going "awww cute" and keep doing it. I'm talking like genuine mishandling and potentially hurting them and shit??? and like so obviously too but then all the comments r like "aww its smiling" and its a threat display or sign of severe stress

theres a very clear difference between the regular amount of bothering you do to a pet vs scaring that poor thing shitless for your entertainment. your pet shouldn't be acting like you're trying to fucking kill it by just standing there recording it
