Frisk rubbed the back of their neck nervously. She wasn’t wrong. Having their face touched made them extremely nervous. They immediate;t justified why n their mind. It wasn’t anything to do with her. The top of their head was normally a fine area to touch, or it had been until someone broke their skull open for just being in the wrong black. The face though, it was so delicate. Facial injuries were often the worst ones they got. That as well, it was a place to be gripped if you wanted to squeeze their face until it popped. With their experience being crushed by maces and magic dogs, they’re rather not have their head touched in a way they saw as potentially violent.
“I suppose that’s true, miss. But, I’m young enough to have a pretty open heart. My mom thinks I trust people too easy. She’s almost definitely right, cause she’s really smart. But, I guess even I have limits.”
A little laugh managed to escape them. Of course they would have limits. Everyone did. “Anyway, miss. I’m out here because I wanted to view the park. It’s really pretty. I didn’t really have anyone to go with. I have friends, but we’re scattered around the city. I’ve been here for three months, but I’m still not used to everything in this place.
“May I ask why you’re out here? People listening?”
Their mom, huh? Was that what moms do? Tell their child what they think? She had already forgotten what familial bonds meant and what they are in someone's life. It's been a long time after all and she's no longer human, only partially now. Speaking of limits, she has yet to find out about hers. She had never been in a situation where she felt herself uncontrollably mad or pissed at someone to a level so heightened. Perhaps because of that she could confidently say that she has the longest patience a woman could possibly have, except when her hair and skin are concerned. The best way to her anger is to leave a scratch on her skin or damage her hair.
"What of these limits of yours?" She asked, if only for the notion of keeping the conversation going and flowing. "Three months is nothing compared to a lifetime. Must you spend your time getting to know everyone for as long as you can. It's a fun thing to do." Not that she had tried doing it. She just wanted to say something.
As for her, she didn't have a reason unlike her company. She just happened to be here, or was that the case? Galatea had already forgotten. For certain she didn't have a choice, a blind woman could only go so far from her apartment after all, if not accompanied by anyone. "I'd say I'm admiring the view as well but that would be a lie, wouldn't it?" The woman meekly laughed. "I just happened to be here is all."
