I finally did it!

Moved to Arizona last week. I’m living in the most gun friendly state in the nation and am loving it. I had been dreaming of moving out of CT for years and it has finally happened.

Hey Gunblr, been awhile. Working a ton and enjoying life. I’ve been planning on moving to a free state for years and the time is finally coming. Went on a scouting trip to AZ with my wife and loved it. We went to the Grand Canyon, I got to meet Travis Haley, check out his sick shop (go if you can), picked up his sweet INCOG bag, and shot my dream pistol the Mark 23. Life is too short to be stuck in a gun hating state, we plan to move within the year.

Hey Gunblr, it’s been awhile since I’ve really posted and it’s been quite awhile since I’ve gotten a new gun. Just picked up this NIB Smith and Wesson Model 17 Masterpiece .22 LR revolver today. Man what a beauty. I had my heart set on an HK45 but came to the realization I already have a .45 and a bunch of semi’s and I’m considering going back to school so cheap ammo was a must. I figured I didn’t have any revolvers and needed a .22 pistol so I found the nicest one I could. This gun does not disappoint. It has a 6” barrel, 6 round capacity, and adjustable sights. The trigger is a DA/SA. The double action is 10-12 heavy pounds but very smooth and the single action is extremely crisp, somewhere around 3.5-4lbs. It’s a damn fine shooter and the deep blued finish is extremely well done. It’s a hefty pistol but it’s meant to be almost exactly like it’s bigger brothers, the .357 Magnum Model 19 (which I may have to get now) and .44 Magnum Model 29. If you’re thinking of a .22 revolver this is the one to get, or its stainless steel 10 round capacity brother the 617. I have to say it was nice to just shoot handful after handful of ammo and not worry about the price. If you get the chance check the Model 17 out, it’s a solid gun.
