Greetings, my dear !
My name is Wilhelmina, but you may call me Miss Mina.
Despite what my title suggests, I am not, nor have I ever been, a nurse -- I simply find that the title sounds better in accompaniment with my name.
I am quite inexperienced in the medical field, as I am considerably younger than most doctors, being only six-teen years of age as of writing this. However, I am always looking to improve my work, so advice from other doctors would be quite appreciated !
My reasoning for acquiring this particular job at such a young age is that my father was a highly respected physician and I was meant to be the same when I turned twenty, however he passed of influenza about six months ago -- 'twas a tragic thing indeed --, and so I was required to take on the job prematurely. Most people of my age do not work in such precarious jobs as medicine, but I simply had no choice.
My shop is mainly open during the months of autumn and spring, however, provided my medicine does not freeze inside its bottles, I am occasionally able to sell in the winter as well.
I am looking forward to engaging with fellow doctors in this place, and I do hope you all are not too put off by someone so young being a true physician !
Yours,
Mina ♥
