“So, how’s your dating life?”
“Great! Carbon dating is pretty accurate at determining the age of organic matter.”

Sperm carries electrons in the mitochondria
The powerhouse of the nut
And because I’m a nerd, I can’t help but think that sperm don’t have mitochondria (logically, to me, since all our mitochondria come from our mothers). BUT I’M WRONG!! (again)
Sperm fit in as many mitochondria as they can, but the egg destroys them all after it’s been penetrated.
That’s a much better bit of trivia than I was expecting.
WHY IS THIS SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND
So for all you feminists out their who think that all men should die, remember, you are not a feminist.

BEAUTY OF DISCOVERY
Crystals of copper(II) sulfate pentahydrate spill out of and engulf laboratory glassware in “The Chemistry of it All,” a sculpture by Sophie Romer, an art student with a chemistry minor at Lancaster University, in England. For this work, Romer experimented with crystal growth on glass and other surfaces in Lancaster’s chemistry teaching labs. The crystals spring from the glassware uncontrollably, reflecting the release and dissemination of discoveries to the scientific community, she says. Just like those discoveries, the crystals need the support of the tools with which they were forged.
Romer thanks lab technicians John Baum and John Crosse for teaching her about crystal growth and helping her in the lab.

But if these years have taught me anything it is this: you can never run away. Not ever. The only way out is in.
