This is Amar Das, a fire mage in his mid 20s. Also bi and trans. He's currently busy working in a resistance movement against a militant ruler in a fantasy setting where magic isn't very common. Although he leans strongly towards optimism, the stress of the job is wearing him down and he has doubts of making it very far into his 30s.

Amar isn't too outgoing but definitely not shy: he has a near unshakeable sense of self confidence and a deep, deep passion for people and things he cares about. That passion often crosses over to stubbornness and leads to him taking bigger risks, which is how he lost his right arm.

He wears his heart on his sleeve and can't tell a convincing lie to save his life. It's very easy to tell where you stand with him. Responds very well to playful teasing and arguing.
