Still alive. The company i joined is a fintech company… so things are very fast-paced. It’s been a struggle to find energy to draw. I definitely miss drawing Edric and Morrigan.

I do wonder if Morrigan’s story and the Flemeth-Mythal thing would have unfolded differently if the devs had their way and were properly supported for DA4.

Who did Armard choose to help close the breach? If the Templars, how often does the order harass the swamp family? If the mages, did Kieran or Eylln ever thought of going to thier collages?

Canonically, Armand chose the Mages. (Though in terms of gameplay, I prefer the Templar route. Haha.)

Morrigan and Edric made sure the Templars wouldn’t even have a chance to harass their children. The kids would have been young around Inquisition, so they’re probably close by where Morrigan is.

If Kieran joined the Veilguard, how would he get along with Rook and the other companions?

I think he’d generally get along well with everyone. He’d probably come across as very polite and maybe a tad bit too inquisitive.

My headcanon with how he ends up joining the Veilguard : it’s entirely a random event wherein he chances upon Rook and company. Perhaps in Arlathan while they’re trying to investigate some sort of Elven artifact that could help them. And he just casually dumps legit elven lore and information to them like it’s nothing.

As a companion, he’d be totally vague about his parents. Until one day, they do bump into Morrigan with him in the party. And he just casually drops “Hello, mother”. (He just doesn’t understand how much of a Big Deal ™ his parents are.)

Bellara - I could see them geeking out over artifacts together. Probably has a big crush on Bel.

Neve - Kieran is really inquisitive and would probably pester Neve about her adventures. He’d find her work fascinating.

Davrin - davrin might get a bit suspicious on how Kieran knows a lot about Grey Warden lore. But eventually, they end up bonding over Grey Warden stuff. Kieran would probably just casually say “oh my dad is the Hero of Ferelden”.

Lucanis - Lucanis may or may not get weirded out by Kieran trying to figure out how the thing with Lucanis and Spite works. They’d probably bond over cooking, and Kieran would end up learning a lot from Lucanis.

Harding - Kieran knows how it feels to deal with something intertwined with oneself and not totally understand it. So he offers to help Lace come to terms or at least try to figure out what is going on with her. Lace doesn’t recognize him at first since they didn’t really talk when Morrigan and Kieran were in Skyhold.

Taash - lmao I imagine Kieran could potentially creep out Taash at first. Especially when he’s a bit cryptic.

Emmrich - ooooh Kieran would enjoy conversing with Emmrich about magic. He probably spends a lot of time just picking Emmrich’s brain apart. The companions would probably get tired of hearing them discussing magic. Hahaha.

Here's some swamp family questions!

How does Kieran and Eylln feel about being of noble blood? Even though they most likely won't in inherent anything due to the south's fear of mages, do you think Fergus might make his nephew and niece court mages?

And the most important question of all... Which of the Kids were the picky eater?

They didn't find out until Edric took all of them to Highever. It's not something they completely understood until they got older. Knowing Morrigan, she would probably not permit them to be in the limelight unless they would choose to when they're older. I think Kieran would probably end up hanging out with the Veil Jumpers. Ellyn would probably enjoy being a court mage hahahaha. Edric would probably ask Fergus to keep his children's existence on the hush hush for protection. So he will not make deliberate moves to put them forward in court roles. The picky kid? Ellyn. Definitely Ellyn. Kieran grew up with a Morrigan was learning how to cook well. And well...... Edric... it took a LOT of time before Edric was able to put together a decent meal.
