bury the gays doesn't just mean a gay person dies in the story. Song of Achilles or They Both Die At the End is not "bury the gays"

bury the gays is when a gay character is killed off, usually early in the story, to either give a straight character "character development" or to give a story line excuse for their lover to not date and do those gross gay things.

Brokeback Mountain or Milk are not "bury the gays"

no all of these things are tragedies, gay tragedies. It is valid to say you do not like tragedies, thats fine, it's also fair to say that gay representation, particularly before a certain point, WAY over represents tragedy. Thats fine to say, but neither of those things makes individual works, bad, homophobic, or bad representation, they can be for other reasons, but just because they're gay and sad doesn't make them bad.

it's been really hard to mask lately and a lot of my friends are really confused at why im acting differently but i don't know how to stop it or how to explain myself to them (mask as in my symptoms of autism not mask as in sickness)

update : this is now happening where i can't mask stimming and ppl think it's funny (im glad they're not separating from me anymore but laughing at my stimming seems kind of?? hmmm)
