In my portfolio I have included both completed and developing work as I believe it is important to show imperfect works. I have included pieces from across both years of studying alevel Art. Fror my first project, which was myths and monsters, I wanted to focus on the horror side of monsters and the uncanny. For my second project, which was love and embrace, I focused on a fairy tale, feminine style of love. For my third project I focused on the art movement impressionism where I explored the art style and the artists. And for my final exam component I will be focusing on the abstract human form. 

Through my work I want to show my creativity and passion for art and for other artists aswell, by experimenting with styles and by replicating others works I believe it will grow my skills and build my portfolio. 

I will continue to add to my digital portfolio as I make work that i believe is worthy enough to show here.

For a task during my impressionist art movement, i was told to paint somebody iconic, for this task i chose Joy and Seulgi from Red velvet, I linked it to my art movement by referencing a photo of them doing something from everyday life

Here is my final piece for the theme of Love and Embrace, i painted this on an a2 canvas with acrylic paint, i also used gold foil to create the pin needles to make the image more interesting overall

This is a draft of my final piece from my year 1 topic of love and embrace. I wanted to encapsulate a feminine fairy tale type of love. I took inspiration from a cover of Agatha Christi's Miss Marple's Final Cases.

This was the front cover page for my art movement C1 sketchbook, The art movement i chose to focus on was impressionism and i painted "sunlight" by Frank Weston Benson.

Here is a self-portrait I painted a year ago in grayscale when I was first starting to use acrylic paints.

Here I worked in the style of Picasso's blue period and is one of the first times I had painted a portrait, beforehand, I did an artist's copy of Picasso's "woman with a helmet of hair" (1904), I then took photographs restaging that artwork and then painted the restaging.

Here is another example of me working in the style of an artist, This time I worked in the style of Christina Trofua. I worked in her style by using coloured pencils and fine liner.

one of my first tasks when starting my a level art was to work in the style of artists, This was one of my first times of doing this task. For this page i worked in the style of Sage Vaughn. This was also my first time experimenting with ink wash.
