Though he was thankful it was not a human muddling with his affairs tonight, he’s still rather disgruntled - as it seemed no matter what hour it was, there was always something always about - some entity always happening to be present and disrupting his evening. Then again, perhaps it was foolish of him to expect any sort of peace in this existence of his - after all, it’s not like he wanted to be creeping around a graveyard past midnight. But his persistent hunger was relentless, his reason long gone as animalistic instincts urged him to satiate his appetite (though he was aware, no such thing would ever occur).
He takes a moment to identify the other’s scent, a small grimace evoked as his gaze drifts elsewhere - disinterested. Human or yokai - it made no difference in how receptive he would be. He preferred to be alone.

he squints at the first reply , rather annoyed and ready to leave the man to himself until he hears his question . it takes him a few seconds to piece it together , but upon the other’s request his true nature becomes clear . the idea of the man feasting on a dead body doesn’t sit well with him , but he supposes that’s better than causing trouble with the living .
