Backrooms movie was peak !! 9/10 full thoughts under the cut

SPOILER WARMING!!

Oh that was epic. I loved the found footage type parts especially. (Like the camera stuffs, and the part in the beginning). That was definitely the highlight of the movie for me.

The body horror was quite creepy for me. Literally looked away when that dude Clark ate the bits of the people like eughh.

I think the design of the main monster is especially unsettling. I think the way in which the main chase scene at the end is framed especially helps with that, tho. I cannot stress enough how good the filming of this movie is. The way some scenes are framed are just soo good man and that's lowkey something I never even notice in movies

Only complaints would be that some scenes did drag on a bittt too long I think. Like when Clark first makes it into the backrooms, I think it went on just a bit longer than it needed to. I also think the acting was super good and cool BUT I think just a few parts near the end could have been better. Like when Clark and Mary were arguing, I think just some of the acting coulda been better maybe.

This isn't really a complaint, but I would have LOVEDD to see more of the camera found footage type scenes. They were just so so good, and I think they did well at what many other movies fail to make work and hit hard

But yeah fr 9/10 movie I would absolutely not mind rewatching this!! Like I said, really my only major complaint is that the beginning drags a bit, but everything else is really peak I think!!
