Today on "Poking Around the Obscure Corners of Sailor Moon"...

Up top, we have Sailor Petit Moon (Kousagi Tsukino)'s full team, consisting of Perle, Sailor Titan (Fukano Youichi's beta!Saturn), Sailor Cupid (Puruko, a character from Guardians of Order's Sailor Moon TTRPG), and four girls loosely based on the clone kids from Parallel Sailor Moon.

The Galileans aren't related to the Inners (who, in my AU musings, will adopt the Sailor Quartet); they're a quartet of Air Force brats who have trouble getting along with Kousagi at first.

I'm using Youichi's beta!Outer uniform as the basis for near-planet lunar Guardians. Perle has Triton's star seed so that 1) his presence on this team could be justified, and 2) Neptune could be represented in some form.

As for the Neo Shitennou, they come from Sera Myu, and--with the exception of returning member Kunzite--are all but literal clones of the original Shitennou. I redesigned them to be counterparts to the Outers (with whom they do not get along), and combined Kunzite's PGSM design and old dub name to get a fourth dude who aligns with Saturn.

Redesign of Kousagi Tsukino, Sailor Moon's second daughter from another universe. She is now: Tuxedo Mini Mask with a brand new look! Read below for design choices & rewritten backstory for the AU:

Design: Kousagi's OG hair looks almost exactly like a mix of Chibiusa's and Usagi's- the design is rather lazy. To make her more unique, I gave her a different shade of hair (like her grandmother Ikuko!) moved her buns to the top of her head to look like both a bow and bunny ears, and pushed her design to mimic closer to that of her father's by giving her a tuxedo; along with a white cape and a mask to boot- sort of similar to Usagi's very early concept art. (She also has a bunny tail.)  Because her design is closer to her dad's, I dub her "Tuxedo Mini Mask". "Sailor Hat Trick" is a possible alternative that references the magician trick of pulling a rabbit out of a hat- or in this case, her father's hat- keeping up the theme of bunny rabbits and bringing the family designs full circle. 

Story: Kousagi Tsukino is from an alternate timeline despite the fact that Millenium Queens can't have more than one child. The timeline of Sailor Moon is all over the place, and Kousagi’s story was sort of "phoned in", so I'm rewriting the timeline of the AU to explain Kousagi's existence: 

Queen Serenity has her daughter Serena(Usagi)- who has Chibiusa with Endymion(Mamoru). Beryl kills both Endymion and Serena. Queen Serenity gathers the souls of those who died and sends them to Earth to be reborn. Chibiusa curses her own powerlessness, and refuses to accept a future where her family is born apart. She flees and enters the Door of Space Time, intending to go back in time to warn / save her parents. But because she lacks/loses a key and Pluto is not there to guide her (Busy summoning Saturn to reset the timeline) Chibusa gets lost and ends up instead in the future, where her parents are now reborn as Usagi and Mamoru. So Chibiusa is their daughter from their past. 

Stuff happens, Chibiusa finally unlocks her powers, etc… and then a new girl shows up. Kousagi Tsukino, declaring she is ALSO Usagi and Mamoru’s daughter- but she’s from the future. 

While normally, because Millennium Queens can’t have more than one child, technically, because Usagi died and didn’t have a child in the new timeline yet, this loophole allows Kousagi to be born. She has a large appetite, is far more silly and likes to goof off- but she also has a natural magical talent and easier chemistry with Usagi & Mamoru, which causes terrible jealousy from Chibiusa. (This might be what causes Chibiusa to turn into Black Lady in this timeline when she feels replaced) 

Kousagi later reveals she and Chibiusa are the new future superhero duo who fight alongside the Sailor Quartet. They sort of have a Batman and Robin vibe, with Chibiusa being the more stern and serious one, while Kousagi is the silly lighthearted one. And even though Chibiusa was never born as her sister in this timeline- she’s still by all accounts, her older sister and mentor- whom she grew up with and loves very much.
