The Rebild Society is a non-political Danish-American friendship organization that, since 1912, has held celebrations on the United States’ Independence Day, July 4th, in Rebild Hills Denmark to honor the cultural, educational, and family ties between the two countries.

The major Danish celebration of US Independence Day will take place without a satirical statue of the American president. It has been to a climate summit in Brazil. It has been to an international security conference in Munich. But it will not be coming to the Rebild Festival, where Danes and Americans will gather this Saturday to celebrate US Independence Day and the ties between the two countries. The statue *The Orange Plague* – by the artist Jens Galschiøt. It depicts a naked President Donald Trump riding on the shoulders of an anguished and emaciated man, and the artist very much wanted to display it at the Rebild Festival.

The larvae (thaumetopoea processionea) have toxic hairs that drift on the wind and can trigger extreme allergic reactions in humans. 

We also have a few wolves in Denmark. Experts tell us that they are not dangerous to humans.

Kenya’s diverse wildlife has lost two of its rarest specimens—a white giraffe and its calf—after they were killed by poachers. The carcasses of the female giraffe and the calf were discovered by rangers in a village in northeastern Kenya. This was reported by animal welfare activists in the East African country, according to the British broadcaster BBC. A third white giraffe remains alive. It is a male born to the slain female and is believed to be the only one of its kind left in the world. The unusual coloration is caused by a lack of pigment in the animals.

Suffragette

The suffragette colors (specifically made famous by the British Women's Social and Political Union in 1908) are purple, white, and green.

The colors were chosen to represent the core values of the movement: [

Purple: Represented loyalty and dignity.

White: Represented purity in personal and public life.

Green: Represented hope for the future.

Together, they made up a visual identity that activists wore on sashes, pins, and clothing, and the acronym sometimes cleverly stood for "Give Women the Vote" (Green, White, Violet)

Emmeline Pankhurst was arrested in front of Buckingham Palace in May 1914 when she tried to deliver a petition to King George V.

The fight for women's suffrage in England was mentioned in an Austrian magazine
