I think it would be funny if Kaminoans had like shrimp genders, where their identity and grammatical pronouns are completely decoupled from anything to do with physical appearance or reproductive role (they reproduce through cloning, and their offspring get designer genders), and they do not expect outsiders to be able to discern between these statuses (and, frankly, prefer it that way)
this, in conjunction with the way that Mando'a has none gender with left knife, means that the clones grow up without really considering gender when speaking
which has the fun consequence of their utter confusion when expected to use Basic, which does have both grammatical and personal genders
they land on the 'safe' solution of referring to every natborn they encounter as 'sir'
Girls find it hot when I speak Hungarian.
I have no clue why, but it works.
Today's Lexember word from Sovála comes from our cat language Sarkezhe. All the animals of Savála evolved bipedal, humanoid qualities after human beings were wiped out via a substance that emerged in the waters of eastern Canada. What the cats call yikwi, also known as the blood water (so called by the rabbits), gave small mammals the power of speech and sentience. It emerged once in the old days, and what followed were the first wars of the animals, after which they reached a somewhat stable peace. Though they remained separate societies, they established regular contact with one another and got on well together—until the day the blood water emerged again.

unlike most other proposals for English spelling reforms, fixing the mess of double consonants in English wouldnt be too hard and would make it easier to read actually, like for example: Devellupping looks much better and is easier to read, and its much more phonetic
(this also corrosponds to a similar change that German made)
of course sorting out most of the other things would be much harder without breaking things (for example adding back Eth and Thorn would be quite difficult without making a mess because English speakers have never been able to keep the difference between the two Th sounds straight)
