     Before he had even been able to speak, before he had even known what love and loyalty were, he swore to lay his life down for his city, swore that no person or thing would be spared from his wrath if they so even looked at his home, the place that raised him into who he is today. It is because of that oath, his eyes hold no warmth for the man in his sights, only anger and wrath is in his blue gaze. He stalks forward like a storm about to hit land, danger swirling around him as the ground crumbles under his feet. His entire being is coated in red light, giving him the image of a god on the path of war.

    The subject of his anger speaks, but his words fall upon deaf ears, drowned out by the sound of ocean waves crashing against the shore. You should be dead. You should be dead. You should be dead. You should be dead. Lips curl into a snarl, eyes narrowing under the shadow of his hat, gloved fists clenched at his sides. The smoke curling around the overgrown lizard’s head does little to deter him; rather, it only serves as fuel for the raging inferno inside of his mind.

    “ Last I checked, I don’t need an invitation to kick your ass. I have questions and I know you have answers. ” The ability to withstand Corruption on its own is intriguing and he had considered asking more about it, but the urge to protect the balance of Yokohama overrides that curiosity. What he wants to know more about is how the shitty beast in front of him has the entirety of the Special Abilities Department in his clawed hand.

    “ Now, you can either answer my questions or be crushed under my heel, you shitty excuse for a lizard. It’s your choice. ”

Elsa sighed as her cup of hot chocolate instantly turned to ice chocolate upon her lips touching the warm beverage. She frowned just slightly, grabbing a fork and stabbing at the icy chocolate until it turned to slush. 

She didn’t mind the cold, wintery air—she couldn’t feel it, after all—but she did enjoy the feeling of the warm beverage trickling down her throat. 

Or, rather, the idea of it. 

Right as she took a sip of her slushy-ish chocolate drink, she could actually feel the temperature drop. It made her azure eyes widen in shock at the foreign feeling. Her feeling cold..?? Never before had she felt like this... It was kind of refreshing, almost, like a crisp autumn breeze. 

Elsa glanced over at the door to the café, trying to see who made the temperature drop so that even she could feel it. A young woman with strange red eyes... And white hair. 

White hair like hers.

Can it be..?

          “What? Oh, sorry that was just something I heard once. Bit long-winded for me but at least it’s got a good point.” From the seriousness of the quote came a more childish act. Beaming up at the man who he couldn’t and wouldn’t count as a stranger. Not after years of him and his brother falling and following in each and every footstep. Jacob was going to be so upset he wasn’t here.

          “You’re really him though, right? Mr Shibusawa, as a fellow abilities researcher it’s an honor to meet you finally. And don’t worry, I found this place on my own. Or rather, my ability did it for me, I’m pretty terrible with directions.”
