Today I read something on facebook.

It said, “Tonight August 1st, the next level of your life will begin.Your life will continue to get 10x better every month from now. August will bring you a higher consciousness, more love, success mentally, emotionally, energetically, financially & dreams coming true. Claim it. Affirm.”

I’m claiming it. I affirm it. I want things to change, I’m ready. The way I want to do things will become more clear to those around me.

I can’t find any particularly good spells that I can do myself. Mostly, any link I click that advertises a really good love spell just takes me to websites where people charge you to do the spell for you. I’ve already done one of those. I want to do it myself. If its coming from me, I feel like the connection will be more...strong? deep? I don’t know, but I want to find something...more.

Last night, the doorbell rang, and I thought it was him.

Okay, maybe I’m a little more fucked up over this than I thought. As in, I definitely just paid for this lady to do an obsession spell over my ex. As well as renewing my honey jar spell with a red candle. I honestly think I’m going to try as many spells on him as I can. I don’t know if I’ll take him back, but I want it to be my choice.

I’m going through a pretty shitty breakup. I don’t want it to be over. But I literally had another girl scream at me that I’m a dumb ass bitch because she has been dating him for a few months. So, it would literally prove that I’m a dumb ass bitch if I went back to him.

We both had these bracelets, modeled after the solar system, but made of precious stones. Mine broke last week, and then we broke up. How fucking stupid. I want to tell him about it but it’s better that I keep him blocked, and keep myself from being weak. 

I am in control of my thoughts, my words, and my life.

I release stagnant energy.

I use failure as a stepping stone.

I am resilient.

I don’t work today, so I’m getting real stoned and trying to stay mellow. I’m doing a huge load of laundry, which makes my room a lot less cluttered. I took out like three garbage bags, put away some of my random debris. My closet is still a mess, and my bed isn’t made, but I’ll get there. I still have all day.

I dreamed about drugs last night. I don’t remember details, really. I only remembered I had even dreamed because I found a straw on my TV stand and I remember in my dream, I was somewhat frantically searching for a straw so I could snort...something. Not sure what it was. Sigh.

Reminiscing a little bit about my time in rehab. I really miss it. I lived in close quarters with great people, all of the staff was great, I learned so much. I think I’ve slacked in my recovery a bit recently. I’m about to be 8 months clean (today or tomorrow) and I don’t really do meetings anymore. But I am proud of my sobriety, of my growth, of what I’ve achieved and overcome. I miss rehab so much. Sigh.

When a friend told me this, I didn't know it was something I needed to hear. She said:

i just realized how beautiful each one of us is. i read a post right now about how no one looks at the things we call our insecurities and calls us ugly. we spend our whole lives trying to get these small things right but fail to look at ourselves the way anyone else would. imagine being looked at by a random girl in a shop and she thinks you're so pretty. whereas you spent your day dreading how bad your hair looked and spoiled your appearance. i don't know, it's such an out of body experience. the zits, the creases, the marks, the scars, your skin color, your nose and how your forehead looks bigger in a pony has got nothing to do with how beautiful you are. we are so busy criticizing ourselves that we don't realize the beauty we strike as when someone looks at us. to everyone out there, you're so beautiful and i wish i could make you look at yourself the way your loved ones do.
