[UPDATE] I passed my last class so I am officially free from my two-year 3D animation program 🥳 I still have my day job as a junior animator yes…, BUT now that I have more time, I’ll be fixing my schedule and going back to regular posting without the stress of looming school requirements. Here’s my intended plan since I missed a bunch:

- Comic will update between the last week of June and first week of July, depending on how much I will finish (and it may have a recap segment since we’re coming back from hiatus)

- Will go back to posting short animations / videos around July

- Stuff for patrons will resume again (weekly production posts, my monthly exclusive doodles, etc.)

- Not urgent but important tasks for me: update The File Room on tioscomic.com, animate panels from previous chapters, continue layouting the physical copy of the comic (ch.4 onwards)

Thank you everyone for being patient and understanding when I had to prioritize my studies first! <3

OMG TOMODACHI LIFE DAPH 😭🥺 I’ve been meaning to make TIOS characters in the game too once I find my Nintendo Switch in the depths of my drawers.

I think the details are accurate? idk much about the specific personalities and dating preferences in the game yet, although his birthday is canonically August 01 and he’s 23 in the comic right now, unless this is like college-era Daphnis then yes that’s pretty right LOL. His outfit is very nice OP, he’s just a swell little demiguy and happy to be here. 🥳

This update post is long overdue. I was really hoping I could squeeze out a comic update last March 21st, but because of the news that I’ll have to redo requirements and graduate next semester, I needed a break to destress. Sorry for the delay everyone! The news really sucked, but we keep going! 💪

So my game plan is, I’ll do my best to post a comic update and video/s this April (and my Patreon weeklies will be back to regular scheduling). Hopefully, I’ll have the comic on the 21st but due to everything going on, please don’t expect hard deadlines from me until I graduate (since school and my studio day job are taking a lot of my time). Thank you everyone for being so patient, and I hope I can come back once 3D animation school doesn’t have me in such a chokehold. In the middle of the year, I’ll probably do a short comic refresher just so we all remember what’s going on in the story after all my breaks lol. 😭

Here’s Tom’s second cousin Ant (Anton) that we will probably never see in the comic for reasons I will expound on eventually. He’s in a separate story of his own that I want to make in low poly 3D in the future!

But for lore purposes: Ant was the cousin Tom vibed with the most as a kid, considering they were the only boys that time. Both would only see each other during Sangalang family reunions, but they did join the same theatre workshop one summer lol.

Ant eventually migrated to attend a prestigious film school. Tom and Ant would message each other occasionally, exchanging movie reviews, family matters, a happy birthday message here and there, that was until Ant stopped responding. Tom doesn’t know why, but he assumes he’s well off out there somewhere, like his family said he was.
