Games of today and tomorrow!
I may get some shit for this, but I really could care less. Games of today, suck. There isn't a single game that can keep me invested, let alone addicted. I had high hopes for The Elder Scrolls Online, holy hell was that a let down. The same goes for Diablo III, although I've heard it's a lot better now since they have removed the auction house with the new expansion. I was mainly disappointed because they did not include rune words. There are a few games that look promising, though I will not hold my breath for any of them. I have long since learned my lesson. One of these games being No Man's Sky. It's not super graphically intensive, but the contrast is AMAZING. If my eyes could drool, they would be drooling right now. Essentially the game is about exploration. While exploring you will need to survive. To do this, you will need to collect resources from planets. Watch out for dinosaurs or anything big that might step on you, that is.. if there is life on that specific planet. After collecting resources, you can either sell them or use them to upgrade your ship. You could also lose the resources to some space pirates. If that happens, hopefully you have enough units to buy another ship. This is not a game for fairies.
Fortnite looks fun! Build your base, defend it, and try your damnedest to survive. Any up for a highly intricate tower defense game? I sure as hell am!
As an original Everquest fan, I can't wait to see what Everquest Next has in store for us. *crosses fingers* please let it be.. FUCKING AWESOME! Bearded Dwarf Ladies ftw!
