Idk if this is a hot take but I would rather play against a stax player than a stompy player almost every time because a lot of stax players that are used to playing the archetype have come to understand that being a threat makes you a target.

While a lot of stompy players will still not understand that dropping a bunch of massive creatures will get them removed and then promptly make it your issue that you countered their Ghalta because "I don't really have that many creatures in hand it'll be fine"
