Liam stared at her with a confused smile, his entire body starting to tense up. He felt like some teenage boy who just got flat-out rejected in front of the entire school. A nervous laugh left his lips, he felt absouletly humiliated right now. “Excuse me for wanting to spend Valentines with my girlfriend.” Sadness was evident in his voice, and with a sharp sigh he searched through his pockets and retrieved a red box. He held it out in his hands before letting the object fall from his fingers and onto the sand. “Don’t even bother opening it. You’ll probably laugh in my face because you think it’s cheap and tacky. Let’s not mention it cost me an entire fucking paycheck.” He wanted her to feel bad, feel as embarrassed as he did. “You could of at least had the fucking decency to let me know you want nothing to do with me. I don’t give a fuck how much I love you–you don’t get to play games with my head. I’m not Mark. You want me gone say it to my fucking face.”

she closes her eyes as he drops the present, that way also trying to control her breathing and find the strength to say what she’s about to say without having her voice shake. ❝ don’t throw it. just give it to jessica. ❞ her voice’s so cold at the beginning, but as she continues talking it shows exactly how much she’s hurting. ❝ yeah, you should go. that way i can go back to being a fucking whore and you can be with the girl you love. ❞ and that’s when she slowly opens her watery eyes, pressing her lips together as she swallows, the lump in her throat pushing uncomfortably.  ❝ sorry i got in the way. ‘m sorry. ❞ her voice shakes, her words laced with broken sobs.  ❝ i love you, rat, but you deserve better. ❞ she attempts a smile and gives him a small shrug. this, together with everything that’s been going on with her lately, drained her completely, so much that her trembling legs couldn’t hold her tiny body anymore. she ended up sitting on the sand, her arms protectively wrapped around her legs as she hides her face between her knees.

“Nyx!” Liam called out as he spotted the blonde, shuffling his way through the crowd as he finally found her. “Ive been looking everywhere for you.” He chuckled nervously, rubbing his arms. “Did you not get my texts?” He frowned as he continued to rub his arms, the actions soon turning into scratching at his skin instead. His head fucking hurt right now. He could barley even concentrate on what he wanted to say. “I thought–I was worried you didn’t want to come…or something.”

❝ fine, ❞ the blonde gives in with a sigh, allowing her best friend jett to go get her a drink. he’s the reason why she came to this DUMB party, since he had mentioned telling her something special once they arrive there. and while waiting for him, this social butterfly is pressed against the wall, stiff & looking rather uncomfortable as she looks at other people having fun, plastering a small smile on her glossy lips at everyone who waves at her. and now she's lowering her head, eyes set on the sand she's weakly kicking with her chucks, since she doesn't really want to be noticed or approached.

BIOTITE: the biggest problems my muse is currently dealing with.

ANSWER: The drunken whore of a woman who dares to call herself her mother! Nyx would love nothing more than for that person to vanish from her life, and not make her listen to/watch her bring trainwrecks of men to their family home while in an indescribably intoxicated state. However, sometimes she finds sympathy even for her. Maybe it’s because she caught herself slowly becoming what she had dreaded — a spitting image of her. And now that she’s dating Liam, she fears that somehow she’ll fuck it up. Or even worse, that he doesn’t love her at all and will hurt her.
