You were walking to school on a rainy day. The clouds made the day seem darker than what it actually was. It looked like nighttime. Since you loved you the rain so much, you walked slowly. You could care less if you were late or not. Playing your cloudy playlist, you imagined scenarios as you walked. You kept one headphone out just in case somebody wanna try you. Humming a song that came on, you heard a noise, you didn’t look back, you walked faster. “C’mon now! I’m trying to have my y/n moment!” You thought, mad at the person for ruining it. You were walking closer to your school. You felt at peace now that you were in some light. “Turn around now.” A voice inside your head suddenly said. Listening to the voice, you turned around. You saw a pair of golden eyes in the bushes. You looked away and ran fast. You got closer to the door when something grabbed you. You thrashed around and bit the figure. It made a noise and scratched your arm. The figure looked at you. It’s piercing eyes started at you. It echoed, “Soon.” You were confused until it said your name.
You woke up in a cold sweat, panting like you ran 10 miles. “What made me have a dream like that? I didn’t watch or read anything before I went to sleep.” Sighing, you checked the time. 7:30 am. You got up and started getting ready for school. As you were changing, you heard rain coming down. “Just like my dream.” You were putting on your shirt when you noticed a scratch. Your heart stopped for a minute. “No. This can’t be real.” Oh it was real alright. You were trapped inside your nightmare until you could figure out who “It” was.
