I haven’t interacted with II in awhile, but I found out payjay is canon!!! and for some reason, everyone and they mama decided they hate payjay now. (I just really want to yap about them)

oh my gosh payjay is genuinely such a lovely pairing. I love how light-hearted they are and with how dark the show has gotten, it’s like a gentle drizzle before the storm.

It’s clear the team has been wanting this ship canon for YEARS, and now they are able to write them all cheesy and in love!! Of course they’re be super excited about it. “I’m dating a winner!” You sure are, buddy ^_^

Payjay does NOT feel forced, I’m not entirely sure what people want from them. I think people forget that the 1st season was written by a bunch of children, and there’s so many characters they have to make arcs for and even understand that some characters were booted off VERY early!! Even if you’ve only seen the 1st season, you can tell that they’ve been super close!!

I love how paper and oj refrence each other so much in the new season, you can tell they’re in love!! I don’t think a lot of these people have been in a loving relationship, because I talk about my partner all the time!! they’re in love for a reason, and it makes me so happy when they’re able to express that in the show instead of writing a few tweets about it.

I love payjay, and I’m more than happy that II took it upon themselves to make a ship canon, a homosexual one too!! I can’t blame the people who don’t like the ship either, they usually have a different oj and paper ship they like and that’s okay!! I understand the frustration of the popular one being canon. However, at the same time, I think we should be grateful that we even got a canonically gay pairing. It’s super hard to come by when it’s not queer mainstream media.
