[ROUND 2]
WHO WOULD BE THE BETTER WIFE: THIRTEEN OR BARBATOS?
Thirteen
Barbatos
finally got the motivation to finish this after 3 days
anyway.
no attic or underground tomb because they're not shown on the map (though the attic stairs are there), and i'm also not sure where to put asmo's closet
i also added a laundry room based on the fact that it *should* be next to the kitchen, though the actual layout of the room on the map indicates it's sleeping quarters (the extra unlabeled rooms were likely for servants or such before it got moved to the devildom)
Actually, on the laundry room situation: I think it might be a little more like this?
First of all, the way the layout is arranged in the WW map doesn't quite seem to line up with the background itself, but I think it's worth noting that the cross-hatched pattern they use to denote walls in the map is also used inside of the room- technically, there is a wall extending out in that space in the kitchen image, but if you look at ALL of the back walls, that's the only one drawn out for some reason, and not even that is fully accurate. I think it might not be literally representing a wall in that case, but instead delineating where the room is separated. There's no other dual-purpose rooms in the house, so there's not really a comparison to know for sure (additionally, that's probably why they only labelled the kitchen- it wouldn't look quite as clean to have multiple names in that one area, so priority went to the room that's more relevant. As in, MC goes to the kitchen pretty often, but they've never been asked to "the laundry room"). That part's more speculation-based, so into the actual evidence.
Secondly, as far as I know the only picture we have of the ""laundry room"" is from a Where's My Money chat unlocked in Levi's The Cursed Friend (OG chapter A UR) card, where Levi floods it during a dream.
That said, if you look at the image, you might notice... that's just their kitchen?
Didn't have to outline it in as much detail as I did, I was just trying to figure out roughly the angle the picture was taken at (I think Mammon might have been standing on the table to get out of the water, lmao) and figured I might as well leave it. But that's, like... pretty unambiguously referenced from the kitchen. Which I originally thought was some kind of mix-up, or just making things up for a background they didn't have on-hand, but the kitchen also has a clothesline hanging in the corner?
At that point, I think it's reasonable to consider it an intentional choice- especially considering the fact that the House of Lamentation is modeled after a (presumably relatively old) human house. This is also a thing in real-world old houses- they weren't designed with laundry in mind, so it made sense to place them in a room that already has access to running water and electricity (the last part is kind of a null point here, there aren't electronics shown in any rooms in the HoL except for the bedrooms, but they're kind of inconsistent in general about using actual tech vs. magic so I don't think much about it).
Also, in case anyone was wondering: this is primarily a thing in British houses. You'll find a little bit of discourse about it everywhere (bathroom vs. kitchen vs. garage vs. "wtf why don't you just have a laundry room") but it's a Brit thing, in my experience. I don't know enough about British architecture (or previous Solmare games, I know they reuse a lot of assets but I don't know where each one originated) to compare but I am kind of curious what evidence there is for the HoL originating from there.

Oct 2023 issue of B'sLOG translation Special Feature: Hyper☆Summer Date Feat. Mammon, Solomon
[PLEASE DO NOT REUPLOAD] (reblogging/comments okay)
The brightness of the summer sun pushes us to be more open than usual. To enjoy this fun season, the special feature will be called "Summer Date"! Please look out for the happy summer date plan he chooses ♪
(Characters are given questions according to the place they what to go on a date with - either the beach, an amusement park, or a summer festival.)
have devolved into begging on social media but this is driving me up the WALL. I relatively distinctly remember a line of dialogue in the original game, paraphrased obviously, but to the extent of "asmo's charm doesn't work on a few rare exceptions but they're usually people with great magical power so it's strange that MC is one of them". does anyone else remember this or have I been trying to headcanon something into existence
(in hell) damn this isekai kinda sucks :/
Spspsps~ kitty, kitties ~<3~<3~!
Mc being a major political talking point in the Devildom has made then somewhat of a celebrity which culminates in them having a small subsection of dedicated fans that write like. horny fanfiction about them.
They find this out one day and post “I can’t believe people write fanfics about me lol” on whatever the Devildom version of Tumblr is and Leviathan dick-rides via reblogging and saying shit like “ROFL yeah RPF writers are so weird!! I mean, even *I* think it’s gross lolololol.” And writes a whole paragraph abt how invasive it is like he doesn’t have 30 tabs of various absolutely degenerate “MC x Reader” fics open in incognito.
