well . you see its all very simple. anakin is palpatines dog- but hes also padmes dog. PADME is herself anakins dog, as well as stuffed dog euthanized long ago by previous owners.... obi wan is the councils dog who doesnt realize hes a dog so he pities other dogs while trotting along on a mutually agreed upon leash. luke is a stray that obiwan takes in- he then becomes a dog chasing his own tail. vader is palpatines beaten dog, and hes trying to bring luke to palpatines feet like offering a fresh kill. yoda grabs onto lukes leash, though luke is holding it in his own maw and growling without realizing- he thinks hes trying to offer the leash. leia is- complicated. shes not a dog herself but she bets on losing dogs relentlessly. luke is her attack dog and han is her lap dog. han keeps running away but he will always come back to beg at her feet. luke doesnt know how to stop growling when someone tries to take his leash. its all very simple.
