Hi. It's me again with another lifeguard fic even though no one asked for it and it's not really summer anymore. I can't explain it except to say that the Obikin brainrot becomes necrotic if I don't turn the ideas into fics. You understand.

It's not Wednesday, WIP or otherwise, but here's a sentence from my fic for the @obikinlifeguardau collection that made me giggle:

It was a relief when Obi-Wan kissed him, because that saved Anakin from having to make any inane suggestions like, 'Do you want to take your pants off yourself or should I do it for you?', which sounded just a little too much like something Anakin would have said to one of the twins a couple years previously when they were being stubborn about bedtime.

Last Line Challenge

Thank you for the tag @samstree! I'm still trying to finish off my @obikinlifeguardau fic...very slowly. The very last thing I wrote is the twins and their friends meeting lifeguard!Obi-Wan for the first time:

Anakin figured that was just the power Mr. Kenobi had, to make people want to listen to him and do whatever he said. Anakin certainly did. In the hands of someone other than Mr. Kenobi, that would probably be a very frightening power, but Anakin trusted him implicitly, and it looked like the twins and their friends did too, because they were all behaving very solemnly as they carefully slipped their flip-flops off and lined them up along the side of the pool house before calmly stepping into the water. They all used the stairs, Anakin noticed. Not a single one of them, even Luke, cannonballed in.
