Just saw probably one of the last screenings of Supergirl in my theater and I just wanna say all of y'all on the Internet are liars you had me going into this movie thinking it would be bad but it was amazing. I loved the message that you don't have to be nice or perfect, just good. I loved that we see just how Kara presents that in the movie from trying to get Ruthye's sword back when she had no reason to interfere to killing Krem herself so that Ruthye's life won't be tainted with pain. I love how she was messy and flawed but developed during the movie. I love Lobo. I love how even when her priorities were on saving her dog she still saved the girls being taken. I love Lobo. I love how it showed Krypton, Kara asking what her one life means in the grand scheme of things is something I ask myself a lot. I love Lobo. I loved that the dog didn't die. Did I mention I love Lobo?
It genuinely just has to be a mix of misogyny and bad timing for how this movie managed to flop. The only critiques I have was that Krem wasn't that much of an impactful villain and Lobo never called himself the Main Man. Moral of the Story; never listen to opinions from critics or redditors.
