Golden hues gazed over the other trainer to inspect her troublemaker, only to see the bird Pokemon staring intently at the little pastries they passed by. Kage didn’t even look as though he was aware that he had just bumped into someone just now. Perhaps his stomach was more important than anything at this moment. But knowing neither her Pokemon nor the trainer was injured in any way, gave Mao some peace of mind.
“I think he wants one of those pastries we passed by..” She explained as she went up to Kage, feeling a little guilty that she didn’t have the money on her to treat her Pokemon. But she was still concerned about the trainer in front of her as it was her fault that she didn’t keep a closer watch on her Swablu.
It was her policy to repay anyone she had troubled, no matter how small it may be. She looked towards where her Swablu was floating and gained an idea. “Can I treat to one of those?” Mao asked, pointing towards the little treats behind the glass window. Even though she was didn’t have much on her, she couldn’t just leave the matter.
“Ah, I see. Well..if anything, those pastries must be really amazing if he’s so eager to get them.” Fay smiled at the notion of a Pokemon who was excited just to get their favorite food. It wasn’t uncommon but it still warmed his heart whenever he saw such a scenario occur. He soon felt something shaking in the back of his hood when he remembered who was in there, gently picking Min up from there so as not to frighten her any more than the Eevee already was.
“There there, Min. It’s okay...Nothing’s gonna hurt you alright?” His words fell on deaf ears as Min continued to shake in fear until Fay gently patted her on the head which comforted her slightly as she found herself nuzzling into his touch until she noticed the stranger in front of them, she then quickly escaped back into his hood.
Guess some things never change.
“Hmm? Oh no it’s fine, really! Don’t worry about it. Well, maybe it would be better to treat your Swablu? I mean he seems more hungry than I do at the moment!”
