I want to be strong –strong enough to stand by myself
small talk;;
“There are chairs outside. Ifyou don’t mind the temperature, you can try waiting out there. My manager doesn’tmind.” he knew what it was like waiting on others. It was rather boring, andcalling them over the phone never helped. Jay stared at the clock she lookedat, watching the hands move slowly.
“Try not to let it get toyou, though. People are like that.” he didn’t want to admit that he found most peopleannoying, so he left it at that. Even he had his moments where he wasn’t ableto make appointments due to being a gym leader, and a busy worker in general.
“Hope I’m not bothering you…you don’t have to pay for the drink.” he continued to stare at the clock, trying to give her some space. The café still had thirty minutes left untilboth of them are asked to leave.
“Um...thanks. I highly doubt they’re going to come though; I’ve been waiting for hours and they never showed up.” She still didn’t like waiting on people though. Even though being a member of the Elite Four required patience sometimes, she still wasn’t good with waiting.
“Oh believe me, I know. I’ve had to deal with people like that before.” Considering her past dealings with the International Police, there were people that were troublesome to deal with. It was just something she had to deal with, but that didn’t mean she had to like it.
“No, you aren’t bothering me. It’s better than being alone I guess.” she sipped at her drink again before continuing. “Besides, you’re alone in here too right? I mean, it’s almost closing time...”
“I don’t want to leave you, but you’re not really giving me another option.”
Leave her?!
After he had asked her to help him?! He was the one that wanted her to help him, so why didn’t he understand what the problem was?!
“I told you, I don’t kill people! I’m a thief, not a killer so what part of that is so hard for you to understand?! That’s how I’ve always worked so I’m not changing my methods just for you and this team!”
“I don’t want to leave you, but you’re not really giving me another option.”
Leave you…
The words really struck her. Getting left behind…was something she couldn’t handle, considering her parents had done that to her. They had their reasons that she could understand now, but this was completely different!
She didn’t…want to be alone again. She couldn’t deal with it, she just couldn’t-!
“Please don’t! I-I’ll do whatever you need me to do! I’ll change, whatever needs to be done, just please don’t…Don’t leave me alone!”
“Are you okay in there? You’ve been so quiet.”
Well, this was a fine situation she had found herself in.
Draze had come over to hang out and things had just gone downhill from there. People had seen the two of them together and started whispering, wondering what the two Elite Four Members were doing together, what their relationship was and everything like that.
Someone had come over and asked what their relationship was and she’d had enough. She yelled that they were just friends and ran off, locking herself in a room nearby, siting against the door and started crying. She couldn’t handle all that, it was too much, why did people think that things were like that?!
She could hear Draze from the other side of the door once she had calmed down. He was just worried for her, right?
“I-I’m fine…I just…couldn’t handle what happened out there and…had to get away from all that…”
“Are you feeling alright? You don’t look it.”
She hadn’t gotten a good night’s sleep in days.
She’d been kept up by nightmares of her past, and trying to nap during the day wasn’t easier. She’d just resigned herself to having to go through the days sleep-deprived.
So when her fellow Elite Four Member had found her looking like she hadn’t slept well, it was well, embarrassing. Still, there wasn’t any point in lying, was there?
“I…haven’t been sleeping well this past few days…”

because sometimes what’s left to the imagination is much more terrifying.
“Are you feeling alright? You don’t look it.” “I just heard something… Something bad…” “Why didn’t you tell me about this?!” “What’s all this blood?!” “Will you tell me what the fuck is going on?” “Don’t give me that look! It wasn’t my fault!” “You should probably sit down for this.” “Please tell me you forgive me!” “I can’t live without you!” “Oh god, It was a mistake coming here… I’m sure of it.” “What the hell happened to you?!” “Where have you been?! I’ve been waiting for hours!” “You promised you wouldn’t do this anymore!” “I knew not to trust you!” “What’s that in your bag…? Is that–? Tell me it’s not!” “Is this what a dislocated shoulder feels like?!” “How could you do this to me?!” “Wake up! Wake up!!! You’re having a nightmare!” “I feel weird… what was in that drink…?” “I don’t want to leave you, but you’re not really giving me another option.” “Please… you’re scaring me…” “Ssh, I heard something again. How aren’t you hearing it? It was loud… and getting closer.” “Are you okay in there? You’ve been so quiet.” “I came as soon as I could! Did he/she get to you already?” “I don’t know whether I want to do this. I don’t know whether I CAN do this.” “Do you remember anything?” “You have to tell me who did this to you!” “No, no, I’m not alright. I’m definitely not alright.” “What’s your fucking problem?!” “Are you crying?” “You’re freaking me out! Please calm down!” “I’m leaving. And I’m not intending to come back.” “You… are dying?” “Did you drink the whole bottle while tripping? Seriously?” “Do you have a deathwish or something? Jesus!” “Ever been held at gunpoint? Want to know what it feels like?” “Stop screaming! Shh, calm down! You have to keep quiet!” “When’s the last time you slept?”.

@kaitounoshinjitsu ;; “I noticed you sitting there all day… were youwaiting on someone?” Jay had just gotten done with his side job, at a little café.He offered the girl a warm drink from the café, since the manager wanted himto. He didn’t mind, but it was an odd request, since there were a few peoplethat did sit in café’s for hours on end.
“If you were, I don’t think they’regoing to show up.” he slipped off his apron that he was wearing and looked downat her, hoping she didn’t find him strange for finally talking to her afterhours of not.
“The café isgoing to close soon…” he muttered, trying to stick with conversation, but nowhe was trailing off, making this more awkward than it should be.
Of course this would happen to her. She had been asked by someone to come meet them at this cafe and they never showed up. It wasn’t like getting stood up wouldn’t effect her. It just showed how much she couldn’t trust everyone easily.
Like I didn’t know that already... she though to herself. A voice from beside her broke her out of her thoughts, and she turned to see a male standing near her with a warm drink in hand, offering it to her. She took the drink with a small ‘thank you’ and listen to the rest of what he had to say.
“Yeah, guess they must have stood me up. Maybe they never intended to show up in the first place.” She looked over at the clock on the wall, noticing the time. “You’re right, it’s getting late and close to closing time. I probably should get going soon...”

“Indeed you are.” she said, giggling. She set her tea down on the table and motioned to the plush chair in front of her. The table was set with different pastries. “Nice to meet you, Aria. Don’t mind my pokemon out of their chambers; I rely on them to help move around.”
Well at least she was in the right place. She smiled at the other girl and moved to sit at the plush chair that was in front of her. The table was set with different pastries and she could feel herself getting hungry. She did have a weakness for sweets after all.
Though, she did have some questions for the other Elite Four member. Perhaps she could get the answers during this visit. She had always wanted to meet other Elite Four Members, but the most pressing matter on her mind was what she had said about her Pokemon. Could she perhaps need them to move around because she was blind?
Those questions could wait. They had other things to talk about didn’t they?
“Likewise.” She bit into one of the pastries before them before continuing her train of thought. “So, you asked me to come help you with type-disadvantages correct?”

@kaitounoshinjitsu
Yuyu had being seeing far too many people in the past few days, but there had been no reported incidents of anything going wrong, so she didn’t mind. If anything, she would have gotten much more sleep at the end of it. For a girl lounging around, a little energy wasn’t too much to protest against.
She had invited a small girl from the Elite Four that pursued in Dark Types to try and have a discussion over type disadvantages, so she had prepared her room accordingly. However, she didn’t tell the girl that she was blind. She never does.
Then, she felt a presence at her door.
“Oh, come on in!” Yuyu said.
I wonder...Am I in the right place?
She had received a letter from one of the Elite Four members from Sinnoh. The psychic type member to be exact - Yuyu Lillian Peppercorn. She had asked her to come to talk about type disadvantages.
The letter and the request had caught her offguard. She wasn’t sure if she was well...worthy enough to be getting such a request. Then again, it made sense. Dark types had the biggest advantage over psychic types, being immune to their attacks unlike the other weaknesses of the type.
She had managed to make her way to Sinnoh and to the League thanks to Kuro. The guards there had known she was coming so she let herself back into the hallway that lead to the Elite Four rooms. Yuyu was the first member so her door would be the first one.
Hearing the voice started her. She hadn’t even knocked yet! Still she let herself in.
“Ah, you’re Yuyu correct? I’m Aria Yamamato, the Dark Type Elite Four you invited.”
I dare you to challenge Lykos to a war -thumb war!
“What?!”
Challenges out of the blue were common for her being a part of the Elite Four but still! For something so trivial it just seemed…weird. A dare is a dare though…
“Okay! Wherever you Lykos I challenge you- to a thumb war!”
Why don't you give someone a hug?
“A hug?”
She’s not exactly sure how to respond. She hadn’t really hugged anyone besides her Pokemon and her parents when they were alive. She’s not one to back down from something so simple though.
“Sure why not? Anyone need one?”
Send my muse a truth or dare.
