What was it?: When I was little I dressed up as a witch like thrice.  What’s your favorite candy? The question should have been surprising, or even irritating, but Himchan was quite used to Minhyeok’s request for food. It happened often enough that Himchan did not even bat an eye. It was familiar enough that he even felt his nerves settle, if only a little. “Yeah, I wouldn’t want you to drink on an empty stomach, would I? That would be rude of me.” He grinned cheekily to himself. “That would only make you get drunker quicker!” Reaching for the menu, Himchan’s eyes only scanned over the options briefly before handing it to Minhyeok. “Only one, though. We came here to drink, not eat.” The tone he used was firm with the hope of actually making Minhyeok listen to him. 

Lifting his glass again, Himchan finished off the rest of the champagne within it. With a small gruff, he set it down, before letting it fill again with the golden beverage. 

Even if he hadn’t been blessed with the tolerance of a fae,   Minhyeok had been certain that he would have been able to beat Himchan regardless. 

He sat with one leg crossed over the other, unmoved by the taunts further spoken by the older. There was no reason to heed any attention to Himchan’s display of over-confidence, an arrogance that the fae had been accustomed to see with people of similar personalities, as the reality only known to the model invalidated any room for an emotional response. No further words left the brunet’s lips, uttering the same words yet again made base for an ineffectual conversation that he frankly had no interest--or emotional dedication--- to participate within. 

“I am confident in myself.” He chose to utter instead, straightening his back just the slightest to correct himself back into a prim posture. “Very much so, in fact.” His grin twists, he then opt to cut his response there as his interest drifts towards the menu. A breath of laughter ghosted him at the comment of being dependent, the model tilted his head just a shy as dark eyes navigated through the menu trapped between his fingers. He made way to sort the available entrees by estimating exactly how filling each dish was, his priorities not lying upon taste but rather the need to satiate his horrendous metabolism. Next, after weighing the options by calories, his attention quickly drifted towards cost. Only one, Himchan’s voice ghosted in the shell of his ear and Minhyeok pressed his lips until they thinned. Knowing that the bill would be fully handled by whatever lied within the older’s endless wallet, Minhyeok then further split his options with the mindset of ‘the more expensive, the better.’ 

“Hyung, let’s get the lobster cakes.” He placed the menu down and pointed at the picture on display, his hand purposely covering the printed details of the price that was paired with it. “You can’t drink champagne and not eat shellfish with it.” As he spoke, obsidian eyes were not focused on the picture of the lobster cakes but, rather, of the next listed appetizer of fried mushrooms. When he’s decently intoxicated, he had planned. He’ll ask again after that. 

Dragging his gaze upwards to meet Himchan’s, the model blinked once before allowing himself to stare. “After all, I’ve never had lobster quite too often in my life due to the roots that raised me. On the contrary... I would assume you’ve had quite a great of lobster yourself and grown to have quite the taste, so wouldn’t this order be most beneficial to us?”

 Sorry for the inactivity! After I submit my portfolio, I’ll be back on track with everything so thanks for waiting! Nevertheless, without further ado, here’s my response to the munday prompts.

Do you prefer to brainstorm your plots or wing them? Do you have no preference in either?: For smaller interactions, I really just like to wing it? I think it’s a habit I got from anime-rping. If it’s for a major plot point, however, I’m more inclined to brainstorm every aspect of what will happen.  What kind of writing memes do you like, if any (sentence starters, drabble memes, head-canon memes, etc)?: I’m unbiased towards writing memes. I like sentence starters for first-time interactions or when there’s absolutely nothing to think of and I like headcanon memes because I love rambling on with my muse LOL.  What’s the easiest way to plot with you? Alternatively, what is the easiest way to contact you for plotting?: HONESTLY TURNING ASK PROMPTS INTO THREADS??? easiest way of contact is like when i’m not busy and in a discord group chat. 

What kind of movies/television series/dramas/anime/etc do you like to watch?: look i love korean dramas and superhero films. school 2013 and solomon’s perjury are like my all time favorite dramas right now.  Would you be interested in the occasional group viewing of a movie/series/drama/cartoon/etc, if one were to be organized?:  i’ve done this before in anime rp so YES. they’re actually really fun tbh and it allows the members to bond.  If yes to the above, do you have any specifics in time or day as to when you are available to attend? If no, is there any group activity that you would be interested in participating in (ie, games of some sort)?: the weekends please LOL. always the afternoon or evening.

                             “I refuse to state my opinion on the matter.”

His voice acted as a blade that slashed the buzz from the reporters before him, a sense of tension naturally squeezing his frame as he found himself encircled by an onslaught of reporters and cameramen. Sable orbs found themselves transfixed upon the eyes of a reporter before him and unwavering did he stare, never once did his eye contact break from the man to glance at the cameras pointed at him. His intention singling into the sole individual prevented a greater sense of anxiety from ringing into him, meanwhile his hyper-transfixation and forceful eye contact put the male before him in a tighter position, signaled by how frequent his fingers would clench---then unclench-- from the base of the microphone threatening to drop from his fingers. The malaise of one individual, so prominent and shrill in the atmosphere, caused for the sensation to bounce off the others around him and, with the rigidity of the setting so dense, successfully was there a boundary established between Minhyeok and the reporters. 

“My position within my agency strictly states for a separation between politics and business... Take my refusal as the fact that I’m not someone who should be forcefully interrogated about such. If you want to talk politics and if supernaturals should be allowed in the entertainment business or not following Suichen’s arrest, then talk to a politician, not a model. “ His statement would have been enunciated with a wrinkle of his nose had it not been for the fact that he was on broadcast, therefore instead did a plastic smile plaster itself on the model’s plump lips, “They’re the only people that you listen to the end, anyway.” 

The fae’s head tilted higher, his eyes finally drifting from the petrified male before him in order to quickly screen blurred faces that surrounded him. A gap between the shoulders of two reporters slightly wider than the rest, Minhyeok found it as a way to pave an exit as the contents of his mind skimmed for words to mark as a finishing statement.

“Besides...” Looking back at the main reporter, the model let his fingers adjust the ends of suit jacket, the ends of his lips coming to curl into a smirk. “If you had to ask someone about supernaturals and businesses... I would recommend interrogating HAZE Cosmetics. They would surely have a few interesting things to say--- “ Dropping his grin, the fae allowed his eyes to widen as he continued, “Given the fact that their ‘100% vegan and natural’ products are crafted and enhanced by witches themselves.” He allowed his proclamation to blanket over the reporters before he grinned once more, giving a bow and murmuring his farewells (he still had a schedule to adhere to, after all) as the rush of the interviewers broke out yet once again. As they cluttered did Minhyeok backtrack and squeeze his thin frame between the gap he had noticed earlier and, once successfully freed from the circle of reporters, the model kept his head down and swiftly made way back to his original route as pale fingers straightened out his darkened locks.

After a few minutes of deep breathing, Jieun thought she was ready to see her boyfriend. She smiled just at the word. He was her boyfriend. The thought still made her head spin. She walked slowly and deliberately towards their meeting place, brushing her dress down and hoping she didn’t get anything in her hair while standing under the tree.

When she reached the tall clock outside of the park, she saw that she had gotten there first. She glanced at her watch, looked around, then sat down on the bench beneath the chiming clock, a smile still shining on her face as she waited.

He hadn’t thought much about what he was getting himself into when she had directed him a declaration of love. Like many requests that failed to spark an interest within him and held minimal importance, he gave her confession a pass, falsely claiming he felt mutual bond between him in hopes to unveil something enthralling, hazardous. 

Lee Jieun wasn’t anything spectacular to him. Rather, the fae thought of her as mundane, perhaps even below average should he stop being so generous to her frame. It was her doe eyes he thought to be at least somewhat remarkable, a trait that salvaged her appearance in contrast to her being smeared with dirt and whatever contents spread from that shop of hers always evidence on her lithe build. She looked like a beggar, Minhyeok had always thought and, had the two of them stumbled upon the streets of the city’s southern district in a first encounter, the model surely would have thought her to be one. 

Thin fingers smoothened out the crisp edge of his oxford blue dress shirt, semi-formal always the go-to look for the fae, and hooded eyes gave a quick look in bathroom mirror of his apartment before the fae turned once more to give one last analysis of his appearance. Chestnut hair styled in a standard swoop that kissed the sharpness of his brows, a lip-tint of light coral caressed Minhyeok’s lips as the fae finished the final touches of his runway-ready appearance by splashing just a shy of perfume against his wrists and the sides of his neck. He may have been ‘dating’ a personification of a visual wreck, however, nothing would prevent the fae from lowering the standards of his own appearance. With everything checked off on his appearance, without further ado did the fae make his way outside of his abode and to the place that he agreed to meet up with Jieun.         (An amusement park, as he attempted to haul a taxi         did a visible shudder curl down the model’s spine.          He loathed amusement parks, They were jungles, spaces crowded with humans alike as they found pleasure indulging in deathly mechanics and nausea-inducing vehicles. ) 

HE ARRIVED JUST A MINUTE BEFORE THEIR DESIGNATED TIME, a singular eyebrow quirking up as he noted the other’s appearance. No longer did she resemble Cinderella, her ragged clothes replaced with the selection that the fae had generously picked out whilst her appearance appeared decently cleaned for once.  Approaching his date, Minhyeok quickly plastered a light grin upon his features before giving a slight bow in greeting. 

“It appears that I was right when I said a very chic yet innocent style suited you.” Widening his grin, he allowed his gaze to analyze Jieun’s frame once more before he gave a slight nod, “It looks good, Jieun-ah. My tastes compliment you well.”  A crisp laughter fell prompt off the model’s lips, his eyes purposely formed into small, happy crescents before he was reminded to reach into his pocket to present a gift he had gotten (see: stolen) for his date. 

“Though... I don’t think the outfit is complete--- not without this.” He presented a golden bracelet in his palm (something he had seized from a female colleague whilst she hadn’t been looking) and then offered the accessory to Jieun, “It will make your skin look vibrant. since it pairs with the white of your dress.”

He is between performances currently. It’s a busier part of the day, as people were going to get lunch in the area.

With the feeling of another fae approaching him, he glances from the corner of his eye to watch him through the gaps in the crowd. The fae is carrying a McDonalds bag, which seems like a fun target to work with. A bit of concentration on where it would be in space considering where the man was going, and aiming for as soon as he passed the next gap.

And it’s done. He wouldn’t realize that the bag is still in his hands, as it feels weightless and doesn’t appear to be there anymore. As long as he doesn’t open his hand it should be there for some sort of dramatic reveal.

The fae pinpoints him in the crowd pretty quickly, and realizes even quicker that he is probably the one who made his lunch go missing. He realizes that he probably should have studied his target more carefully as the fae he was now standing before definitely seemed to be having a shit day. Surely this dour fae won’t fight him right here.

“Oh my, bold words for someone I’ve never met before. What and who exactly am I messing with?” A sassy smirk hits his face as he delivers his retort, hoping that a his reveal won’t come by force.

The smirk plastered upon the other’s face fails to make the situation any better, paired with the haughty words that dripped from the stranger’s lips does Minhyeok find that the other fae is fortunate that he is far from being a brash individual. Tilting his head up, no words escape the model as he merely glowers, his gaze gave a quick swipe at the other’s supernatural’s hands and the model came to acknowledge that the skill used upon him fell into a category of magical manipulation.

“Jeong Minhyeok.” His reply is curt and lacking formality in the wake of his vexation, his irritation suppresses a bow in his introduction. “If you look in a magazine, you’ll know who I am.” The rumbling of his stomach prevents him from dipping far into small talk, his main attention remaining transfixed upon the fact that his meal is gone. His foot beginning to tap on the ground became out outlet for Minhyeok’s frustration, his teeth grounding as he kept his wrath suppressed. Debating whether or not to demand for his food once more or to inquire about the other fae’s identity, obsidian eyes scanned the other’s hands once more out of habit.

“You’re quite the bold individual, aren’t you?” If his instincts were true, that would mean that the stranger before him was a fae who held no fear casting his magic on others (or, perhaps, just other fae?). Knowing the situation that haunted the city of Sunseong, the majority of political and social opinion that switched unfavorable for the presence of supernatural beings (no thanks to recent events that caused for the city to rise in a storm), Minhyeok was able to determine that the fae before him had been awfully brave should his instincts be right---  That, or the other was unbearably stupid.  With his veins pierced by indignation,      the model found himself more inclined to believe the latter.

“Is this a habit of yours? Antagonizing any peeved person you see passing?” His eyes narrow once more, the scowl never leaving his plump lips. “I would hope not, unless you consider yourself to be quite the masochist.”

If there was one thing that remained a constant for Minhyeok, it was the way that the fae always seemed to discreetly become influenced by his surroundings. With you in particular does Minhyeok find a new muse to influence his appearance out of, it takes time before you realize that the fae has taken small snippets of your fashion quirks and applied it onto himself.

TURN BACK TO 2014. The two of you are new citizens to Sunseong City and, by chance, happen to cross paths. Perhaps its because he finds himself in a completely foreign environment than the comfort of his home city and dilapidated home, but the two of you manage to create a fond connection despite Minhyeok’s lack of social skills and airy personality.  PRESENT-DAY.  There have been highs and lows of your friendship but, despite it all, you remain as one of the closer companions to the fae.

One peculiar trait you’ve noticed about Minhyeok was his prominent passivity in regards to various situations. Taking advantage of the fae’s apathetic streak, the two of you now have become partners in crime when it came to causing mischief of sorts and jamming your noses where they don’t belong.

Months after a catastrophic incident that caused for the end of your ‘one-sided friendship’, as Minhyeok had coined it to be, the fae has begun attempting to weasel his way back into your life once more for a reason you can’t even comprehend why. No matter how many times you attempt to cut the fae short, he seems rather determined to have his way.

After a bad streak with Minhyeok, a series of ill events seem to follow in your wake. Ranging from your belongings going missing to the keyhole of your doorknob being jammed with wood glue, you think you’re starting to comprehend the situation. Minhyeok, after all, has never hit you to be something akin to human.     Though, supernatural or not, you don’t think he can possible be that petty. 

DRUNKEN NIGHT. :: no requirements :: open 

After horrible events occur during your day, you take it in your time during the late of night to consume and drink your sorrows away at a nearby BBQ restaurant. Most unfortunately, Minhyeok has taken a late dine and finds himself sitting next to you. You attempt to round the fae up for fine company, seeing that the two of you are alone, but the model is less than enthusiastic to be your pal for the night.

 Income isn’t steady in Minhyeok’s life given the career path he found himself walking down, more often than not does the fae find himself struggling through a rough day without the proper amount of food to soothe his digestive system. You see him staggering in the late evening, his frame weakened and thinned, and something within you possesses the availability to offer the fae to have a meal with you.

On the bright side, if they did not finish them now, he could always save it for later. With the fresh glasses for the champagne, Himchan grabbed a bottle, pouring his glass half way with the light, bubbly liquid. 

“Drink up.”

The conception of drinking alcohol (nevertheless wine) solely for pleasure was a concept unknown personally to Minhyeok. An acquired taste, the plethora of flavors that skidded across his tastebuds and melted into acidity had been the main reason of the fae’s resentment, no matter how subtle many claimed that the taste of wine was did the model find the taste distinct and somewhat overwhelming on his tongue. Had it not been for the flawed flavor of wine that had drove Minhyeok far away from the appreciation of the beverage, the sheer fact that the appreciation of wine sprouted not from true adulation towards its taste but rather through social cues would be enough to kindle the model’s scorn. 

There was no need for more than a small quirk of an eyebrow in response to Himchan’s words, the smallest bit of a sharp, sardonic huff of laughter escaping the fae as he allowed the older room to believe in what he wished about his physique. Himchan was stubborn, it was a trait Minhyeok had been quick to analyze through their prompt interactions. With that and the fact that the younger refused to put in the effort to switch the mere trivial opinion of some person,  indifference yet again remained finely cloaked upon his frame.

“If you have to carry me home...” He repeated, switching the nearly untouched glass of his wine for the newer one of champagne, “I suppose I could...”  The last syllable curled delicately off the taller’s tongue, the corners of his lips downturning as dark eyes found themselves now transfixed upon the static bubbles kissing the surface of his drink. “But I doubt it.” In that moment did the fae’s expression finally shift, for once did a haughty smirk claw upon his features as he allowed his chin to rest upon the ball of his free hand. “Like I said, hyung.. Between the two of us, you’re the light-weight.” His tone stated shrewdly, underlying in the fae’s claim was an invitation for an unspoken competition. “Before I feel even the slightest bit tipsy, you will with your face planted upon the table.... ‘wasted’, as they say. It will be amusing, surely.” Allowing his words to momentarily soak within the atmosphere, with the low lighting of the bar did the look of mischief then found itself perfected upon the taller’s sharp features.  His wretched grin widening by just a shy, with a simple nod of his head and a raised glass did Minhyeok then make action to dismiss his previous words as he then uttered:

“Cheers, hyung.” Bringing the glass to his lips did he take a sip, his nose scrunching just at the slightest as he felt the champagne react upon his tongue. As he finished his sip did he then place the glass down, his sight never once leaving Himchan until the better interest of searching for a menu surfaced within the models mind.          “By the way... are you planning to order complimentary snacks for the drinks?”
