Apparently I started to write a fanfic with my Tangled AU, but it’s only on russian language ‘cause I’m stupid and can’t write literature text on english (well i CAN translate but it will be not the same ‘cause I’m feeling undetermined about translation)
But I decided to make a post there to share this idea with people and maybe someone of u could make a content or something like that? U can use that idea if u want ‘cause I’m not sure I’m the only one person who came up with it.
This AU is something like the others I’ve written recently but more extended.
Two thousand years ago there was Demanitus — young knight and his friend, Zhan Tiri (this is not real name of her), young magician. They’d always been together, side by side, exploring the world, learning new magic and technolody/alchemy. In their travels, they’d found a magical stone — Sun Drop what brings them to the Moon Stone. Demanitus and Zhan Tiri decided to figure out what is it. Found out that stones give power to anyone who possesses it, two friend made a decision to share it. And so — Demanitus had taken the Sub Drop, Zhan Tiri had had Moon Stone. Since that their path had dispersed, but sometimes they’d saw each other to research the power of stones.
After some time, Demanitus found the kingdom of Corona, he become the first king. He’d continue his invention, his investigation about Sun Drop. Zhan Tiri had made some sort of... small city of black rocks, but later it’s become a Dark Kindgom, yes. But at first it’d been a shelter for magician from all over the world. Here she’d started to learn dark magic, and the thought came to her mind: if keep stone together, the power only will grow. But Demanitus refused to give Zhan Tiri a Sun Drop, and Zhan Tiri tried to take it with force. Well, even best friend can turn into a foe. Demanitus resolved that it would be better to send Zhan Tiri to different world and take moon stone from her. But it wasn’t simple. And Zhan Tiri had left “a gift” for her female descendants: a curse that force ecery female in her family to crave for a moon stone (about this Demanitus didn’t know).
Demanitus decided to get rid of Sun Drop and Moon Stone, separating stones. Sun Drop had been put in flower in Corona, Moon Stone had been put in the cage in Dark Kingdom. Demanitus said descendants of Zhan Tiri who had become a governors of DK that they must to protect a Moon Stone and never let anyone possesses it. But let don’t forget about a curse of Zhan Tiri. Next generation had noticed, that eveb female child of their family crave to get Moon Stone. So they had to tighten educational measures: every woman of family must be severe, rough and reserved to resist their desires. But sometimes that scheme had crashed, and others had to kill their sister, wife or even mother/daughter. Stone becames unstable every hundred years... The first generation was so ashamed of Zhan Tiri that they even began to hide her existence. Following generations didn’t know that she was a founder of DK and their family and considered her just like a bad legend.
Dark Kingdom was in a difficult time. King Edmund knew about the curse and pray ‘cause he didn’t want his child to be a girl. But unlucky it was a girl. King Edmund and his wife loved their daughter even she was cursed. They gave her a name — Cassandra and tried to raise her in severe measures. Moon Stone was becoming unstable every day. And once their daughter tried to reach it, even though she was a four years old girl. King Edmund made a decision — Dark Kingdom can’t no longer exist. So with help of magician that erased Cassandra’s memories, he send her far away with his maid.
Woman arrived in kingdom of Corona and luckily on her path appeared a Captian of the Guard. She asked him to help. So, Captian decided to adopt a girl, and maid gave him a note: “Whoever will care about Cassandra, I beg you — raise her like severe woman” or something like that.
Well, in fact, Cassandra really a hard person. But she has many different desires and they’re always getting away from her. So in that case the crave is growing stronger and stronger.
So, in House of Yesterday’s Tomorrow Cassandra meets Zhan Tiri, and she says she is Cassandra’s ancestor, telling about her family and that having a Moon Stone — is Cass’s destiny, that she doesn’t have to be in Rapunzel shadow no longer. And, of course, Zhan Tiri tells Cassandra that she must to stop Rapunzel from destroying a Moon Stone ‘cause it’s Cassandra’s. Later, of course, Zhan Tiri tells about power of sun drop, about the eclipse, and Cassandra begin to want sun drop too. Cassandra might became a new Zhan Tiri (remember, this is not a name) or something like that. Possessing a moon stone and having a veeery bad emotion can influence on Cassandra’s appearance and behavior.
But let’s we add Cassunzel. Cassandra is in love, and she doubts: is it right, is it wrong, who is she, what she should do, what her goal? Other “Zhan Tiries” (female of DK who possessed a moon stone in past) had nothing and noone to hold for. But Cassandra have. And it is Rapunzel.
So, in final, Zhan Tiri takes both stones, but in battle Cass manage to get Moon Stone back. So she didn’t die. They destroy Zhan Tiri definitely, the curse is gone forever, Cass tells Raps that she going to learn how to control the strength and Moon Stone will be safe with her. Rapunzel trust Cass. Well, I think Raps can have Sun Drop back too...
Cass helps to reclaim Corona so she can recover her guilt. Cassunzel *cough* can *cough* marry and organize the United Kingdom of Corona and Dark Kingdom (i think Cass will think how change that naming).
And in this AU Eugene is best friend of Raps. He saved her from tower but they didn’t fall in love. Sorry not sorry i love lesbians
