Hi, this is SugarVampie's lore dumpsite. I plan to make webcomics in the future and this blog is here for organization purposes and to share my progress.
The comics are a part of a shared universe with self contained stories that have thin connections and potentially separate projects.
I haven't fully decided on a rating but I would say they are aimed at older teens and adults for the time due to having suggestive imagery but no frontal nudity and scary imagery but little to no gore. If this doesn't fit, I'll change it.
Everything is still a work in progress, so some things might be subject to change.
Boundaries:
1. If gain a fanbase, please don't get parasocial or weird. And if you are a bigot, go away. I don't want you or like you.
2. Please don't treat me like I am above criticism. I am a dumb human that can and will make mistakes so please don't attack others for rightfully criticizing me. I am a big girl and I can take it.
3. If you are going to make rule 34 fanart of my work, please tag/filter it properly to make sure no one underage sees it and please don't do it of ocs that are below the age of 18, or characters I don't want sexualized for one reason or another.
4. My characters (especially my villain characters) are fictional. You can like whichever one you want. In the case of villains, you can like them as long as you don't emulate, excuse, or romanticize their actions. And remember: depiction doesn't equal endorsement.
5. If you are going to critique my work, don't be a dick and make bad faith arguments. It's not helpful, it can lead to potential misinformation *cough* lily orchard *cough*, and it makes you look like an ass. If there is something problematic in my work, just tell me and I'll try to either fix it or not repeat it in future installments. No need to be all mean about it.
6. Remember that I tend to write from my own experiences, and if it doesn't match yours, that's okay. Doesn't mean its bad, it's just not relatable.
7. Please don't do the whole "you are so much better than this creator" thing because it feels meanspirited to compare me in that way. Please don't lift me up by tearing someone down. It's not a compliment.
8. You are not entitled to me or my work. I am a person, not your content robot that has to be perfect lest I get crushed and made into a molton slag.
9. Fanmade merch is fine as long as I am credited (and I want to buy one).
10. Please be respectful to each other or I will kill a beloved character.
