Occupy Central with Love and Peace
In what has become the #UmbrellaRevolution, a largely student-lead sea of protesters have occupied Hong Kong in the name of maintaining democratic freedoms in the city's upcoming 2017 elections.

OCCUPY HOPE
"This image represents my support for the Occupy movement, a grassroots movement spawned to stand up against corruption, imbalance of power, and failure of our democracy to represent and help average Americans. On the other hand, as flawed as the system is, I see Obama as a potential ally of the Occupy movement if the energy of the movement is perceived as constructive, not destructive. I still see Obama as the closest thing to “a man on the inside” that we have presently. Obviously, just voting is not enough. We need to use all of our tools to help us achieve our goals and ideals. However, I think idealism and realism need to exist hand in hand. Change is not about one election, one rally, one leader, it is about a constant dedication to progress and a constant push in the right direction. Let’s be the people doing the right thing as outsiders and simultaneously push the insiders to do the right thing for the people. I’m still trying to work out copyright issues I may face with this image, but feel free to share it and stay tuned…"

Happy 2 month anniversary, Occupy[Everywhere]. #N17
Here's a shout out to the folks over at Hyperallergic who have steadily kept up with Occupy/Art since the beginning.
Highly recommended.
The beauty of infographics collide with Occupy Wall Street demands & grievances in The Declaration of the Occupation of NYC.

"This image is profoundly not a solution: to either the injustices we face or my own (infinitely smaller) creative concerns. It is a statement of the problem, and its material being does not reflect the world we want: to start, it is drawn with (toxic) sharpies and distributed through the (unsustainably powered) internet. And the reality it states, let us not forget, is pretty bleak. I dream about making spaces that inspire justice - not just collections of words that show what's wrong. And isn't this really what OWS is about, at its core? Believing that if we start by stating the problems correctly, a better world than we can currently envision is possible. Demanding that we dream up that world, and build that dream. "

Call for Artists @ Occupy Boston Art
From their website:
Undivided: Dewey Square Pop-up Art Show Sunday, November 6, 2011 Inspired by Occupy Boston/Occupy Wall St.
The purpose of the exhibition is to provide an artistic platform to inspire an open dialog about the economic divide in this country, the democratic process as an organizing tool, and the diverse communities that make up the 99%. It is our hope to create an environment where a diverse community of people can gather and begin to dissect the issues and formulate solutions.
The show will be Sunday, November 6th from 1p-4p in Dewey Square at the site of Occupy Boston. Limitations of the space: This will be an outdoor venue at the Dewey Square Occupation site, artists must provide their own easels or tables to display work, we do not recommend fragile pieces. Please be prepared to stay at the site during the duration of the Pop-up Art Show. Alternative Rain Date TBD if needed.
Artist Call: The Dewey Square Pop-up Art Show Committee is looking for art that is inspired by the following statements:
This is what democracy looks like. We are the 99%. This is what economic justice/injustice looks like.
Art format can include: Visual arts such as painting, photography, mixed media, sculpture, illustration, signs, and drawings. Performance Art such as spoken word, 3 minute plays or performance pieces, music, or dance.
All are encouraged to visit the sign making tent for access to materials such cardboard, markers, paint, and paper. If you are interested in showing work, have questions, or want more info please email [email protected]. Follow us on twitter @occupybostonart
#occupySPACE
The Occupy movement has gone to all 7 continents but it hasn't quite reached space yet. So until then, if you happen to be over at #OccupyMaine in Portland, the SPACE Gallery has an Occupy exhibit going on right now, asking for submissions of "statements, slogans, drawings, hopes for the future, concerns, visions, epiphanies, pleas, and more."
[Edit:] Submissions accepted from Monday 10.17.2011 through Tuesday 11.01.2011

Where Do We Go From Here? Occupy Wall St.
There's a wealth of video footage in/on/about Occupy Wall Street. Here's a one-month anniversary look through the dream-steeped eyes of Ed David [www.kittyguerilla.com] to the music of "I Drive" by Cliff Martinez.
Pat Humphries & Sandy O of emma's revolution lend their voices to the Occupy movement with a folksy, rockabilly tune that leads me to day dream of simpler times, when deciding which water fountain to drink from or what seat to take on the bus was much less complicated...

Over at Occupy Design, they've added universal iconography for logistics and protest signage to semiotically (and aesthetically) advance the Occupy movements (or as I also like to think of it, to MIP - Make It Pretty), bringing civil disobedience into the 21st century with the beauty of crowd-sourcing and cloud computing.
Designers can contribute to the pool of crowd-sourced designs and requests can be made by Occupy groups via a web form (google docs). A Designer's Toolkit, with Oswald font, is also provided.

The World We Want Is Us
It moves my heart to see your awakened faces;
the look of “aha!”
shining, finally, in
so many
wide open eyes.
Yes, we are the 99%
all of us
refusing to forget
each other
no matter, in our hunger, what crumbs
are dropped by
the 1%.
The world we want is on the way; Arundhati
and now we
are
hearing her breathing.
That world we want is Us; united; already moving
into it.

Over at Occupy George, 1 dollar bills are being re-inked into portable infographics:
Money talks, but not loud enough for the 99%. By circulating dollar bills stamped with fact-based infographics, Occupy George informs the public of America's daunting economic disparity one bill at a time. Because money knowledge is power.
With templates for your own rubber stamps and info sources to boot!
